After use
Cleaning the air filter
The air filter is located directly behind the air intake grille. It is a removable permanent filter
which, for hygienic reasons, should be cleaned at least once a week. An air filter clogged with
dust restricts air circulation, thereby diminishing the dehumidifying capacity of the appliance
with the result that it is turned off prematurely.
• First remove the condense water tank and then remove the air filter by pulling it
downwards.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove the dust that has been retained by the filter. The filter
can be cleaning in lukewarm water (not warmer than 40°C) to remove intense grime.
• The filter must be completely dry before it is returned.
Storage
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
• Wind the power supply cable onto the cable holder at the back of the appliance.
• Empty and dry the condensed water tank.
• Clean the air filter and return only after it is completely dry.
• Cover the appliance to protect it from dust, and store in an upright (vertical) position in a
guaranteed frost-free place.
