NB: For the European market, the tanks of the com-
pressors are constructed in accordance with the Direc-
tive CE87/404.
For the European market, the compressors are con-
structed in accordance with the Directive CE98/37.
Sound level, measured in open area at a distance of 1 m
±3dB (A) at the maximum service pressure, see table 1.

The sound level can increase from 1 to 10 dB(A), depen-
ding on the location where the compressor is installed.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following symbols are used in this manual:
Denotes the risk of possible personal injury, loss of
life or damage to the machine if the instructions in
this manual are not observed.
Indicates electric tension.
Read this manual carefully before putting the machine
into use. Make sure that you know how the machine
functions and how to operate it. Maintain the machine in
accordance with the instructions to make sure that it
always functions properly. Keep this manual and the
enclosed documentation with the machine.
Most accidents during use of the compressor are due to
negligence of the basic safety regulations.
By recognizing potentially dangerous situations timely
and observing the safety regulations, accidents can be
avoided.
The basic safety regulations are listed in the section
"SPECIAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" of this manual, as
well as in the section about using and maintaining the
compressor.
The dangerous situations to be avoided in order to pre-
vent all risks of serious injuries or damage to the machine
are indicated by warnings on the compressor or in the
manual.
Never use the compressor in the wrong way, but only as
recommended by the designer, unless you are comple-
tely sure that there is no danger, neither for the user nor
for the people in the vicinity.
SPECIAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
Attention! Wrong use and poor maintenance of
the compressor can harm the user physically. To
avoid these risks, you are requested to pay attention to the fol-
lowing instructions:
1. Do not touch the moving parts
Never put your hands, fingers or other body parts
near the compressor’s moving parts.
2. Never use the compressor without the pro-
tections installed
Never use the compressor without all the protec-
tions installed in the correct position (e.g. fairings,
chain protection, safety valve). If you must remove
these protections for maintenance or operation,
make sure that the protections are properly moun-
ted in their original positions before using the com-
pressor again.
3. Always wear safety glasses
Always wear safety glasses or protections for the
eyes of the same quality.
Do not point the compressed air at any part of your
or someone else’s body.
