WARNING! Do not use the device when people, especially children, or

pets are nearby.

WARNING! There is a risk of flying objects when using the device.

This can result in serious irreversible injury or even risk of death.

WARNING! Always wear protection for eyes, ears and head when

operating the device.

• To prevent dust irritation, it is advised to wear a face mask.

• Always wear substantial footwear and long trousers when operating the

device.

WARNING! Keep all foreign objects, body parts (such as fingers,

hair, etc) or garments away from rotating parts of the device

while operating it. If you do not, this could cause serious

irreversible injury or a potential risk of death!

WARNING! Keep all body parts (such as fingers, hair, etc) away

from the brush, especially during use, and wear protective

gloves when handling the device and brush. If you do not, this

may cause serious irreversible injury or even risk of death.

• Do not use the device if you are tired, ill or under the influence of alcohol,

drugs or medication.

• To prevent unintentional starting, ensure the device is switched OFF the

device and the power plug is unplugged before making any adjustments,

changing accessories, moving or storing the device.

• Do not place the device under any mechanical stress.

• Please handle the device carefully. Jolts, impacts or falls, even from a low

height, can damage the device.

• Do not use or store the device in an environment subject to strong static

electricity or magnetic fields.

• Do not use the device in the vicinity of flammable gasses and materials,

i.e. insecticides, fragrances, lit cigarettes. This may cause electric shock,

burns, fire or damage.

• Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of heat sources such as

naked flames (hobs, for example).

• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight, heat sources, excessive

humidity or corrosive environments.

• Only operate the device in daylight or with good artificial lighting.

• Always inspect the area the device is going to be used to avoid slipping,

falling and unexpected objects.

• Remove objects that could get caught or thrown by the device.

• Always be alert when using the device so that you can recognize and

handle risks early. Fast intervention can prevent serious injury and

damage to property.

• Do not overreach, keep proper footing and balance at all times and never

run while using the device.

• Do not lean on the device.

• The warranty will expire immediately if the device is damaged as a result

of not observing this user manual. The manufacturer accepts no liability

for damage caused by non-compliance with the user manual, negligent

use or use which does not comply with the conditions of this user manual.

WARNING! Contact with hot components (motor housing, gear box,

etc.) may cause burns. Allow the device to cool o before handling.

• Clean the device thoroughly after use (see “Cleaning and maintenance”).

• Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the device.

• Do not use foreign objects to clean the device.

• Do not use the device if there are visible signs of damage.

• Do not use the device if it has been dropped or does not operate normally.

• Switch off the device if you discover any faults or signs of damage during

use or when you are not operating/using the device or are cleaning it.

• Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device or modify it in any

manner.

• The device does not contain any parts which can be serviced by the user.

• Only allow repairs to be carried out by a qualified service centre. Qualified

service centre: after-sales department of the manufacturer or store, which

is recognized and authorized to carry out such repairs, so that potential

hazards can be prevented. If problems are encountered with the device,

please return it to this department.

ELECTRICITY AND HEAT

• Prior to use, check that the mains voltage is the same as the mains voltage

stated on the name plate of the device.

• Make sure your hands are dry before touching the device, power cord

or plug.

• Plug the power plug into an electrical outlet that is easily accessible at

all times.

WARNING! Never cover the power plug, cable or device with cloths,

curtains or any other material in order to prevent overheating and

potential fire hazards.

• Make sure that the device and power cable do not come into contact with

heat sources, like a hot hob or naked flame.

• Check the power cord regularly for damage.

• Never use the device if the power cord shows signs of damage, if the

device has fallen on the ground or shows any other signs of damage.

• Switch OFF the device and remove the power plug if you discover any

faults during use, find any signs of damage, are not using the device or

are cleaning it.

• Make sure the power cord cannot be trodden on or pinched.

• Do not allow the power cord to hang over sharp edges and keep it away

from hot objects and naked flames.

• Do not place the device near, under or pointed at an electrical outlet and

place it away from open flames from heat sources.

• When plugging in the power plug, make sure people cannot accidentally

pull it out or trip over it.

• Remove the power plug from the power socket during lightning storms or

if unused for long periods of time.

• When removing the plug from the power socket, pull the plug itself, not

the cable.

• Do not operate the device using an external time switch or a separate

remote control system.

• Prevent overload by not connecting too many devices in a group.

• Do not crush, puncture or dismantle the device.

WARNING! Do not open the casing as this may result in electric

shock!

WARNING! Damaging the casing and/or piercing the device, can lead

to explosion or fire!

WARNING! Never expose the device to moisture. Do not use the

device during rain, lightning storms, snow or when it can come in

contact with any kind of moisture.

WARNING! To avoid the risk of electric shocks, never immerse the

device in water or any other liquid. And do not use it again if this

happens.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, protect the

device from dripping or splashing water and keep it away from

objects filled with liquids.

WARNING! Do not throw the device into a fire,

as it may explode!

• Do not dispose of the device in your household waste. Take it to your local

recycling station. Contact your local government offices for details.

 INSTALLING AND USING THE DEVICE

Open the packaging carefully before taking out the device. Make sure

the device is complete and undamaged. If any components are missing

or damaged, contact the vendor and do not use the product. Retain the

packaging or recycle it in accordance with local regulations.

There may be production residues on the device. To avoid harmful eects,

clean the device thoroughly with a damp cloth, then dry the device with a

dry cloth.
