INSTALLATION
WALL MOUNTING
Your IKARUS 1200 can be placed on a desk or mounted at the wall.
If you desire to mount the phone at the wall, follow the steps below:
a. Reverse the Handset guide as a hanger for Handset.
b. Fix the screws following the position of WALL MOUNTED PAPER as attached of the manual.
c. Mount the phone.
CONNECTION
Connection of your IKARUS 1200 to the telephone network and power supply is very simple. On the side of upper left corner
of the phone, the round socket is for the power supply plug. Next to it is the telephone line socket witch is a modular plug.
Follow the steps below to connect the IKARUS.
CONNECTING THE HANDSET
Plug one end of the coil cord into the handset's jack. Plug the other end into the telephone's handset jack, located on the left
side of the telephone.
CONNECTING THE TELEPHONE
To connect the telephone with modular jack, first plug the telephone line cord into the telephone line cord jack, located on
the telephone's back side. Connect the other end of the telephone line cord into the wall socket's jack now.
CONNECTING THE POWER PACK
Connect the power supply to the round plug on the side of upper left corner of your IKARUS.
Finally, connect the power supply to a mains power socket.
PLACING THE PHONE NUMBER CARD
First remove the transparent cover, then place the memory card and follow by placing the transparent cover back.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Remove the rubber foot as arrow ( => ) shown, then open battery cover. Install the batteries in battery compartment. You
need four 1.5 V-batteries (UM 4.2 PCS).
Don't forget, please, to screw tight the battery cover by the added screw. Your IKARUS cannot be mounted on the wall re-
liable.
Your IKARUS 1200 is ready for use now.
