HOOD ASSEMBL Y
16. Raise the hood axis as shown in Fig. 16a and
insert the 2 side metal plates on the axis.
The metal plate is mount ed correctly when
a CLICK is heard. Bef ore using the carrycot,
try moving the hood with your hands t o make
sure it is xedly mounted (see Fig. 16a/16b).
Insert the decorative parts in the base of the
clip as shown in figure 16c. The decor ative
clips are mount ed correctly when a CLICK is
heard. Bef ore using the carrycot, try moving
them with y our hands to mak e sure each clip
is fixedly mounted. The hood is completely
assembled as shown in Fig. 16d.
FITTING THE LEG C OVER
17. As shown in Fig. 17a/17b/17c, rst place the
leg cover on the kit, and then attach the snap
button and f asten with THE V elcro.
HOOD AD JUSTMENT
18. Opening the hood: Open the hood by pushing
it forwar d as shown in Fig. 18a.
19. Closing the hood: When storing the carrycot,
close the hood as indicated b y the arr ow (see
Fig. 19a/19b).
AD JUST ABLE HANDLE
20. Unlocking the handle: Pull the handle upward
as indicated by the arrow , it can be adjusted in
three positions. The carr ycot is correctly xed
when a CLICK is heard (s ee Fig. 20).
Locking the handle: Press the butt ons on both
sides of the handle bar simultaneously and the
adapter will lock, then push it as indicated by
arrow 2. The handle is s ecurely lock ed when a
CLICK is heard (s ee Fig. 20a/20b).
AD JUST ABLE BACKREST
21. T urn the knob clockwise, the backr est can be
raised t o the highest position at 165°. T urn
the knob counter-clockwise and push down
slightly: this way the backrest can be lower ed
(see Fig. 21a/21b/21c).
AC CESSORIES
22. Preparation bef ore use: First mount the lar ge
buckle on the carr ycot. Fix "hole a" to the xed
plastic element b, insert and push the large
buckle at the same time downwar ds as indicat-
ed by arrow 2 (see Fig. 22a/22b). R epeat the op-
eration also f or the other buckle of the carrycot.
23. Pay attention t o the v arious operations when
the seat is used in the car , see Fig. 23a/23b.
24. Fitting the carr ycot in the car: M
ount the
carrycot in the position shown in Fig. 23a/23b. Insert
the car’ s security slot into the buckle on the seat and
push out the seat belt (see Fig. 24a/24b); cr eate an
eyelet with the str ap, pass the eyelet in the hole of
the metal connector of the car and pass it on the tab
of the connector as indicat ed in Fig. 24c/24d; tighten
the seat belt as indicated b y the arr ow (see Fig. 24e).
Repeat the oper ation also for the other buckle. In this
way the carr ycot is permanently mounted in the car as
indicated in Fig. 24f/24g.
25. Removing the carrycot fr om the car:
As shown in Fig. 25a, the carrycot can be
disassembled fr om the car by releasing the
large buckle (s ee arrow). Lar ge buckles can
be fast ened to the seat belt after r emoving
the carrycot from the car (see Fig. 25b).
Note: The carrycot can only be mounted on
the rear seat and always in the dir ection of
trav el. It can be mounted in v ehicles equipped
with a 3-point static belt in compliance with
the R6 ECE/EEC standar d.
W ARNING
26. For safety r easons, never place the child's
head facing the door . Once the carr ycot is
mounted in the back seat, for the child's s afety
mak e sure that the carrycot restr aint system is
secur ely fast ened, especially if you ar e travel-
ling. After tting the carrycot on the back seat,
adjust the backrest t o the lowest position and
lower the tr anspor t handle. When installed in
the rear seat, the seat belts that hold the car-
rycot's restr aint system to the vehicle must be
secur ely tightened. Adjust the s eat belt to its
maximum length to ensure the stability of the
carrycot when used in the car . Adjust the seat
belt to k eep the carr ycot stable in the vehicle,
the belt must be tight and never twisted.
USE OF SAFETY BEL TS IN THE CAR
27. If the carrycot is used as a car seat, press the
centre butt on to open the buckle, see Fig. 27a.
Connect the buckle to both sides, the buckle
can be xed, s ee Fig. 27b.
Note: Alw ays use the seat belt when the child
is in the carrycot.
USE OF SAFETY BEL TS OUTSIDE THE CAR
28. When using the carr ycot outside the car , the
seat belts must be hidden. Remo ve the reduc-
er b y remo ving the belt from the eyelets (Fig.
28a). Remo ve the two ends of the belt from
the mattress b y passing the buckles into the
corresponding ey elets (Fig. 28b). Place the
two ends of the belt towar ds the foot area of
the carrycot (Fig. 28c). Reposition the mat-
tress s o as to cover the two ends of the belt.
For use in cars the steps must be r epeated in
rev erse order to mak e the belt usable.
USE OF THE BREA THING HOLE
29. Opening the v entilation hole: T urn the knob
under the bask et anti-clockwise, the br eathing
holes will open. The ventilation function is now
enabled with all the holes facing up.
30. Closing the v entilation hole: T urn the knob
under the bask et clockwise, the br eathing holes
will close (see Fig. 30a/30b). Ther e will be no
