When preset time elapses, a beep signals the end, and the

hotplate is switched off. Switch off the alarm by pressing the

sensor of switch-off timer ( C ) or warning sensor ( E ) ,

or it switches off automatically after elapse of certain time.

If you want to switch the timer prior preset time:

• Select desired hotplate - preset power setting is ﬂ ashing.

• Touch the timer ON/OFF sensor (C) – indicator displays ’’ti’’,

and the remaining cooking ime is ﬂ ashing.

• Pressing on the far left side of the slider for two minutes

deactivates the timer and the time set; “ti” appears on the

display. The time setting can also be reset by sliding along the

entire slider area by 1 minute decrements.

• The illuminated point on the left part of the display is turned off

and the timer is deactivated.

• The use and the setting is similar as with the timer; the

difference is that here the alarm on/off sensor (E) is touched.

• The alarm can be set even when cooking power level is set to

“00”, independently on all cooking ﬁ elds.

• The shut-off timer and the alarm cannot be used both on the

same cooking ﬁ eld at the same time. The most recent setting

prevails.

• When the alarm is set, the point to the left of the power level

display is not illuminated, while “to” is displayed every few

seconds.

• After the time set has expired, the alarm sounds, but the

cooking ﬁ eld is not turned off.

During the warranty period, any repairs may only be performed by service technicians

authorized by the appliance manufacturer.

Before starting the repair, the appliance must be disconnected from the power mains by removing the

fuse or by removing the mains cord from the wall outlet.

Unauthorized tampering and repairs may cause the risk of electric shock and short circuit; therefore, do

not attempt them yourselves. Leave such tasks to an expert or an authorized service technician.

In case of minor faults or problems with the appliance operation, check the following instructions to see

whether you can eliminate the causes by yourselves.
