A visit by a service technician during the warranty period will be

charged if the appliance is not functioning because of improper

use. Store these instructions in a place where they are always

readily accessible; if pas the appliance on to another person, the

instructions should also be included.

Following is some advice on rectifying some common problems.

• If all power settings are at ‘’00’’, the hob is switched off after 10

seconds.

• If any sensor is activated for more than 10 seconds, the hob

is switched off, a beep is heard, and the indicator displays

ﬂ ashing ‘’F0’’.

• If a ﬂ ashing sign “F1”, “F2”,”F3”, or “F4” appears on the

sensors, there has been a fault in appliance electronics.

• If a cooking zone is automatically turned off during cooking

and a ﬂ ashing sign “F5” appears, the cooking zone has

overheated and it has been shut down for safety reasons.

Overheating may result from inappropriate use or positioning

of cookware on particular cooking zones. The cooking zone

may be reactivated when it has cooled down sufﬁ ciently.

• If several sensors are covered with an object, or the sensor

surface is covered with spilled liquid, the hob switches off

automatically after certain period of time.

• If the sensors do not seem to respond or if error messages do

not disappear, disconnect the cooker from the power mains

for a few minutes (remove the fuse or trip the main circuit

breaker); then, reconnect it to the mains and turn on the main

switch sensor.

If the problem persists despite observing the instructions above,

call an authorized service technician. Elimination of any errors or

warranty claims that resulted from improper connection or use of

the appliance is not covered by our warranty. In such cases, the

costs of repair are borne by the user.
