washing the dishes). Because of the smooth

surface it is highly unlikely that tough stains will

appear. If, however, they do appear, soak them

before cleaning.

The enamel is acid resistant and extremely hard,

so it is almost impossible to scratch it with hard

cleaning sponge.

You can also use any other standard cleaning

agent for ovens and always consider the

manufacturer's instructions. However if you

regularly clean the oven, the use of these special

agents won't be necessary. Painted, zinc-coated

or aluminum parts should never come in contact

with cleaning agents for cleaning the ovens, as

they may become damaged and discoloured.

Clean the trays with hot water, liquid detergent

and a sponge or cloth and they will keep their

original appearance even after long use and

cleaning.

Simple cleaning

It is recommended to use a special type of wet

cleaning, without the use of expensive cleaners.

Insert the deep roasting tray into the bottom guide

and pour approximately 0,4 lit of water in. Select

the cleaning mode symbol (

), set the

temperature to 50°C and the time to 30 minutes.

The bottom heater will automatically switch off

after the set time had expired, while the

accumulated steam will soak and soften the

stains in the oven. Remove the guides and wipe

the interior of the oven (bottom, walls) with a

moist cloth or a sponge.

Replacing the Light Bulb

Disconnect the appliance before repairing it!

Switch off the oven and leave it to cool before

replacing the light bulb.

Remove (unscrew) the glass cover of the bulb

and replace the bulb (E 14, 220-230 V, 25 W,

T 300).

Remember that bulb replacement is not

covered by your guarantee.

Telescopic pull-out pan guides

The pull-out guides are fixed on each side with

two fixing screws. When you intend to thoroughly

clean the guides, unscrew the screws and

remove the guides.

Pull-out guides can be cleaned in a dish washer

and also with all cleaning agents for stainless

steel.

Catalytic coating of the oven

• Catalytic enamel is soft and sensitive to rubbing

and therefore we warn against the use of

abrasive cleaning agents and sharp objects.

• Rough catalytic enamel speeds up

disintegration of grease and other filth. Smaller

stains that remain after cooking usually

disappear during the next use of the oven. As a

rule, the stains disappear at the temperatures

above 220°C, while at lower temperatures their

disappearance is only partial.

• Self cleaning power of catalytic parts gradually

faints. We suggest replacement of old coatings

after a couple of years of regular use.

Some useful hints

• When roasting large pieces of fatty meat we

recommend that you wrap them in aluminium

foil or put them in a suitable roasting bag to

prevent the grease from splashing all over the

oven.

• Place the drip pan underneath the grid when

using the grill.

Taking Off and Reinserting the

Oven Door

(single-axle hinge)

Open the door completely and press back the

hooking clamp (Fig.1). By slowly opening the door

(some 15°) let the clamps lean in their seat.

When the door is opened for some 15°, slightly lift

it up and pull it out of the seats (Fig.2).

Reinsert the door in the reverse order. Lean the

door for some 15° and insert it into the hinge

seats by pushing it forward and down, so that the

hinges snap in the right position (Fig.3).

Open the door entirely and push the clamps in

their original, horizontal position. Close the door

slowly and monitor how it closes (Fig.4). Should

anything be wrong, check the position of the

hinges; they should be correctly inserted into the

hinge seats.
