❐ Do not leave the device unattended when it is switched on.
❐ Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.
❐ Use the device only in closed rooms.
❐ Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip hazard. Do not
allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may be-
come caught and pull the device down.
❐ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐ Always place the device on a dry, even and fi rm surface.
❐ Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations,
moisture or direct sunlight.
❐ The device may not be moved or transported while it is switched on. Press the AUS
(off) button to switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket
before you move the device.
❐ Never operate the device when it is empty. The mixing container must be fi lled with
liquid at least up to the bottom marking on the container (0.25 L), the grinder attach-
ment should be at least 1/3 fi lled with foodstuffs.
❐ Do not overfi ll the containers. The mixing container must be fi lled no higher than the
1.5 litre mark, the grinder attachment must be fi lled no higher than just below the
edge of the container.
❐ Never fi ll the device with boiling-hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter
than 50°C.
❐ Always keep the lid of the mixing container closed while preparing food. To add in-
gredients during operation, the insert in the middle of the mixing container lid can be
removed.
❐ Do not use the device for longer than 1 minute without interruption to prevent over-
heating. The device switches off automatically if it overheats. In this case, let the
device cool down for a few minutes before you use it again.
❐ The motor unit is not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher!
