Before Initial Use

• Unpack all parts and check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items

Supplied and Device Overview" chapter) and transport damage. If you ﬁ nd any damage

to the components, do not use them (!), but contact the customer service department.

• Clean the device and all accessories (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).

Use

CAUTION!

❐ The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the blade in order to prevent any

cut injuries.

❐ Never reach into the mixing container when the device is connected to the mains

power or is switched on.

❐ Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair, hands

and other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating

device parts.

❐ Do not use the mixing container without the lid!

❐ Never use the stirrer without the suitable insert in the mixing container lid as other-

wise it could become caught in the blades.

❐ Press the AUS (off) button to switch off the device and always pull the mains plug

out of the plug socket before you remove and / or attach the mixing container or the

grinder attachment.

❐ Do not leave the device unattended when it is switched on.

❐ Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.

❐ The device may not be moved or transported while it is switched on.

❐ Never operate the device when it is empty. The mixing container must be ﬁ lled

with liquid at least up to the bottom marking on the container (0.25 L), the grinder

attachment should be at least 1/3 ﬁ lled with foodstuffs.

❐ Do not overﬁ ll the containers. The mixing container must be ﬁ lled no higher than the

1.5 litre mark, the grinder attachment must be ﬁ lled no higher than just below the

edge of the container.

❐ Never ﬁ ll the device with boiling-hot food or liquids! The contents must not be hotter

than 50°C.

❐ Always keep the lid of the mixing container closed while preparing food. To add in-

gredients during operation, the insert in the middle of the mixing container lid can be

removed.

❐ Do not use the device for longer than 1 minute without interruption to prevent

overheating. The device switches off automatically if it overheats. In this case, let the

device cool down for a few minutes before you use it again.

1. Place the motor unit on a dry, even and ﬁ rm surface. Press the suction feet ﬁ rmly

onto the surface.
