T/S mode

Note

Before starng trainer mode for the operaonal model, be sure to

check whether all the funcons have been correctly transferred.

In the canter switch posion ("TEACHER") of a teacher's transmier

mz-10 HoTT the teacher's transmier controls all control funcons.

In the upper, self-centering, switch posion ("PUPIL"), the pupil can

control the model as long as the switch is held by the teacher in this

posion.

During the training mode teacher and pupil can maintain a comfort-

able distance. The so-called call range (max. 50 m) should not be

exceeded. Nor should there be any other persons between teacher

and student. These can aﬀect the range of the return channel used

for connecng the two transmiers. In such a case you should pro-

vide a smaller distance between both transmiers. If it

does not

help, you should immediately stop the use of the model and search

for the reason.

WARNING

The teacher transmier should never be switched oﬀ during the

use! Without teacher transmier the model cannot be controlled.

In case that during the control by the pupil transmier the con-

necon to this transmier is interrupted, the TRAINER switch on

the mz-10 teacher transmier has to be moved as soon as possible

again to the "TEACHER" posion, so that the transmier can take

back the control of the model. Other teacher transmiers take in

such a case automacally the control of the model.

Switch funcons

Motor stop function

The motor stop funcon is acve completely independently from

the posion of this switch, unl aer switching on the transmier

the throle/pitch sck has not been brought at least once in the

motor-OFF posion.

ATTENTION

This funcon prevents accidental starng of motors, thus reducing

the risk of accident. For safety reasons you should get the atude

to move the motor-oﬀ switch forward only when the start is very

imminent and you should move it backward as soon as you have

landed your model.
