Manual frequency tuning
1 Use the »U III« (FM) or »RADIO« (AM) button to select the
desired memory level or range.
2 Press the »<« or »>« button until the second signal sounds.
– Indication in the display: »MAN« and the frequency last tuned
to, e.g. »97 95«.
3 Press the »<« or »>« button to change the frequency step by
step, or press a longer time to scroll the frequencies at high
speed.
4 Press the »U III«, »RADIO« or »AF« button to end manual fre-
quency tuning.
Storing the stations on the station buttons
Independent of the programme and station selection mode, each
station can be stored on any station button. If the station tuned to in
the selected range is already stored, its name along with the station
button number appears in the display.
1 Use the »U III« (FM) or »RADIO« (AM) button to select the
desired memory level or range.
2 Tune to the desired station or RDS programme.
3 To store the station or programme, press »1«, »2«, »3«, »4« or
»5« until the signal sounds.
– The station or programme is stored.
Calling up stored stations
1 Use the »U III« (FM) or »RADIO« (AM) button to select the
desired memory level or range.
2 Briefly press the »1«, »2«, »3«, »4« or »5« button.
– Indication in the display: progamme name and number of the
station button, e.g. »2«.
– You hear the stored station (programme).
Note:
The contents of the memory position buttons are preserved even
if the car radio is disconnected from the operating voltage.
