Connecting the mains adapter
Note:
Check that the mains voltage on the type plate (on the back of
the mains adapter) corresponds to your local mains supply. If this
is not the case, contact your specialist dealer.
1 Insert the plug of the mains adapter cable into the »DC IN«
socket (on the back of the device).
2 Plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet.
Caution:
The device is connected to the mains with the power supply unit.
Unplug the mains adapter to completely disconnect the device
from the mains.
Unplug the power supply unit to disconnect the device from the
mains. Make sure the power supply unit is easily accessible dur-
ing operation and not hindered by other objects.
Connecting an MP3 player or a USB memory
stick
Important:
The device must be switched off while the USB connection is
being made. If it is not switched off, data can be lost.
1 Connect the USB interface of the MP3 player to the »USB«
(type A) socket on the device using a standard USB cable
or
Insert the USB plug of the USB memory stick in the USB socket
»
USB« (type A) on the device.
Connecting an external device
Note:
Switch the device off before you connect external devices.
1 Use standard audio cables to connect the audio outputs of the
external device to the »
AUX IN« socket on the device.
