Coding
For general information on coding
see page 3.
The coding has not been activated at the factory.
If you lose your code number (identity card)
the radio can only be made operational again
by a Grundig dealer after you prove ownership
and pay a fee.
Coding activated?
Check:
if the car radio is switched on:
press the

button until the following
appears in the display:
>SAFE < coding activated
or
>CODE< coding not activated
.
Then:
switch the car radio off and on.
Activate coding
1. The radio is playing.
2. Press

After approx. 3 seconds in the display:

If you want to stop the “coding activation”:
switch the radio off and then on.
3. Enter the code no. (see identity card):

Coding is activated.
The car radio has been separated from the
battery of your vehicle (e.g. permanent plus,
terminal 30), for example after taking out the
radio.
1. Switch on the car radio; in the display:
>SAFE <.
After approx. 3 secondes in the display:
> – – – – <.
2. Enter code no. (see identity card):
