Automatic voltage control makes sure the
unit voltage  uctuation is within the values
guaranteed by the power plant.
Caution: Before using the product it is essential
to check whether the appliance is suitable to be
operated with the unit. Speci cations of the ap-
pliance must always match the details and safety
instructions of the unit.
As far as electronically controlled equipment is con-
cerned, it is necessary to ask in advance for informati-
on from the producer (HIFI, PC, TV, cameras, electronic
hand equipment with continuous control or e.g.
chargers) as the electric generator does not produce
perfect sinusoid (due to the combustion engine).
Due to possible voltage  uctuation, we recommend
not connecting any electronic equipment such as HiFi
appliances or TV and PC as they could get damaged!
Do not connect the appliance before the unit is run-
ning at full speed. Disconnect the appliance before
turning the unit o .
Never connect another appliance when there is
one being operated. This would inevitably lead to
uctuations able to destroy electronically controlled
equipment.
The electric energy consumption is the critical point
of an induction appliance ehen starting. Electric
energy consumption can be 3-5 times higher than the
rated power that must necessarily be considered.
Always place the unit on a  rm and  at surface! No
turning or tilting or moving during operation.
The unit is protected against low oil level. When the
oil level is too low, the unit cannot be started (oil
indicator turns on in case of attempted starting).
Requirements for operating sta
Never let children work with the appliance. Never let
adults work with the appliance unless they have been
properly trained.
The operating sta must carefully read the Opera-
tingInstructions before using the appliance.
Quali cation: Apart from the detailed instructions
by aprofessional, no special quali cation is necessary
forappliance using.
Minimum age: Persons over 16 years of age can
only workon the appliance.An exception includes
youngsters trained in order to reachknowledge
under supervision of the trainer duringoccupational
education.
Local regulations may specify the minimum age of
the user.
Training: Using the appliance only requires corre-
spondingtraining by a professional or the Operating
Instructions. Nospecial training is necessary.
Residual risks
Risk of poisoning!
Exhaust gases, fuel and lubricants are toxic. Inhaling
exhaust gases may be fatal!
Do not operate the unit in closed spaces where dan-
gerours carbon monoxide gases may accumulate.
Danger of burns !
Some parts of the appliance get too hot when the
appliance is operated.
Contacting hot parts of the unit may cause burns.
Do not touch any hot parts, e.g. engine and mu er.
Let the unit cool down after its operation is over.
Risk of explosion!
Petrol and petrol vapours are highly  ammable,
explosive.
Do not work with the unit in an environment with a
risk of explosion where there are  ammable liquids,
gases or dust.
Refuel the engine only when switched o .
Do not store any fuel near the unit.
Never keep the unit with petrol in the tank inside a
building where petrol vapours could get in contact
with open  re or sparks.
Risk of  re!
Never operate the unit near highly  ammable
materials.
Fuel is highly  ammable.
Keep the fuel in suitable containers only.
The appliance may only be refuelled outdoors and
not near open  re or burning cigarettes.
Refuel before starting the appliance. If the engine is
running or still hot, it must not be refuelled or the
tank cover opened.
After use, let the unit cool down for at least 5
minutes before refuelling.
Make sure the fuel does not over ow. If the fuel
over ows, the engine must not be started. Remove
any dirt from the appliance and prevent any at-
tempt at ignition until fuel fumes have evaporated.
Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely.
