The connection to the source should have an under
voltage protection)!
Use the supply cable as short as practicable or have
the diameter if it as large as possible. Use of a long
thin cable results in heating the motor up and the
damage entailed may be non-repairable.
Warning: Extension cable diameter 1,5 mm² and 2,5
mm² from the length of 20 m and more!
Never switch the machine on when braking is in
progress. Observe the switching interval of 1
minute as a minimum
The saw should not be operated unless the switch
braking function is guaranteed.
Operator Safety Instructions
Before switching the unit on, all the safety and protection
devices have to be fitted at correct places.
Never cut pieces of wood so small that they cannot be
held safely.
Before getting down to cutting, take care to see that the
saw-blade is installed in the correct direction of rotation.
The teeth should be in the direction of arrow on the
operator’s side. See also the chapter “Putting in
Operation”.
Use only the saw-blades that are sharp as appropriate
and the pitch of teeth on which is sufficient.
You will save the energy and the motor of your saw. Any
damaged and deformed saw discs should be eliminated
and discarded to prevent untended use of them. The
circular saw will apply braked on the disc within
approximately 15 seconds after switching off. (Whirring
of the motor for several seconds after the stop
is normal). The disc should turn freely
If working wood treated or processed in any way before,
special attention should be paid to nails, screws etc.
Before getting down to work, remove any foreign
objects.
Before switching the main switch on, make sure the saw
disc is fitted correctly and all the unit moving parts are
free.
Warning! If in doubt at the assembly of this circular
bench saw, consult an expert at an authorised servicing
centre.
Preparation of Job
Never overload the unit. Base your work on the
maximum cutting capacity of the unit. Make sure that the
machine will not tip over due to jam of a piece of wood.
Do not use the unit until you have read the
instruction manual carefully.
Observe all the safety instructions shown in the
manual.
Be responsible to the others.
Only one person is allowed to use the saw in principal.
Operation (Fig. 7)
Put the wood in the cradle as safely as possible (no
wobbling) .
Carefully mind any foreign articles and Chipped off
place.
Take the cradle by both hands holding the handle,
support it with your thigh and push it slowly and evenly in
the saw disc.
Step by Step Instructions
In the course of cutting, the right hand conducts the
cradle towards the disc, holding it by handle. The right
hand may get easier by pressing the thigh against the
cradle.
Pressing against the cradle, the disc cover will release
and after completion of the cut, it will get back in the
starting position (the disc is covered up) owing to the
spring tension.
Inspections and Maintenance Safety Instructions
Only a unit that is maintained and cared for regularly may be
a satisfactory aid. Insufficient maintenance and care may
result in unforeseen accidents and injuries.
Inspections and Maintenance
Always keep the swing saw clean. It will be sufficient to clean
the saw from saw dust after the job is done using a brush or a
cloth with the saw disc stopped and the power supply
disconnected. The saw dust and dust on motor cooling ribs
may cause the motor overheating. -> Clean the cooling ribs at
regular intervals.
Inspections and Maintenance Schedule
Time Interval Description
After every use
Remove sawdust, dust and dirt from the
saw – clean.
As necessary
Sharpen the disc, replace it if necessary.
Troubles-Causes-Troubleshooting
Trouble Cause Troubleshooting
Motor will not run
1. No power supply to the unit.
2. Thermal sensor has interrupted power
supply.
1. Check the supply and power line, invite an expert
electrician to consult.
2. Wait for 5-10 min and switch on again.
Motor will not slow down
1. Mechanical motor brake is worn 1. Have a new brake mounted in a servicing centre.
Motor will shut off in the
course of work.
1. Thermal sensor defective
2. Motor circuit breaker
switches off for overloading.
1. Have the replacement done by an expert
electrician only.
2. Wait for the motor to cool down and restart in 5-10
min.
Reasons of overloading
1. Supply line is too long or its cross section is
too small.
2. The saw disc is not sharp as needed.
3. The chamfer of the saw disc teeth is not
correct.
1. The extension cable has to be dimensioned
appropriately, 1.5 mm
2.
2. Sharpen the saw disc.
3. Have the teeth chamfered by an expert.
Scorch traces on the
piece being worked
1. Blunt saw disc. 1. Sharpen or replace the saw disc.
