Further important bazaar rules:
• Can there be more than one carpet in one bazaar?
In a small bazaar booth there can only be one carpet.
In a big bazaar booth one or two carpets have the permission to land.
• Is it allowed to blow aside other carpets?
Yes, and it also makes sense in order to free the way for one’s own
carpet. Whoever wants to may also for example try to hinder another
player from collecting their last present.
What happens when ...?
• ... a carpet flyer by mistake has blown the carpet of another
player into a bazaar booth?
The turn ends immediately. The owner of the carpet was lucky.
Although it is not their turn they can –as described– uncover a card
and –just in case– keep it.
• ... one’s own carpet falls over while being blown at, lands in
the fountain or flies off the game board?
The turn ends immediately. The Saati may put the carpet on any spot
of the game board, but not in the fountain!
• ... the carpet of another player falls over while being blown at,
lands in the fountain or flies off the game board?
The turn ends immediately. The owner of this carpet may put it on any
spot of the game board. Watch out: not in a bazaar!
End of the game
The game ends as soon as a player has slid the fifth present onto their
carpet thus winning the game.
Are you strong? In this case you could try to sit the winner on a carpet
and walk them around the flat.
5 presents = victory
• The Saati throws a double.
He shouts immediately “Coff!”.
This word is also Arabic and means “stop”. It is pronounced like
“coffee” without the “ee” at the end.
The turn has finished.
• A carpet has landed completely inside a bazaar booth.
The flyer shouts: “Coff!”
If it is a small booth the player uncovers the card lying there. If it is a
big booth, they can choose one of the cards there and uncover it.
The uncovered present is compared with the two shown on the unco-
vered family cards.
➔ Do you recognize one of your presents searched for?
Slide the card over your carpet flyer.
Then return the corresponding family card to the box and uncover
a new family card.
Take a present tag from the violet pile and put it face down in the
free space of the game board.
If no tags are left in the violet pile, the tags from the orange pile
are used.
➔ You don’t need the present?
All players can have a look at it. Then it is put back to its place,
face down.
At the end of their turn, all carpet flyers stay where they have landed.
Bellows and dice are passed on in a clockwise direction. The Saati
becomes the carpet flyer.
