Recommended treatment protocol:
With repeated treatments, over time you can expect to see cumulative wrinkle reduction. It is important to
maintain the treatment schedule over the first 1-2 weeks followed by subsequent treatments as and when
required. It is important to remember that results will vary with each individual and are not immediate.
Treatment protocol depends on Skin-type/Level selection. Having determined the appropriate level
according to the above chart and/or spot test, follow these recommendations.
Skin Types 1-3
It is recommended to treat every day for the first week to see the most effective results. After the initial week,
continue with a daily treatment or top-up as and when needed.
When using energy levels 1-3, cover the same treatment areas by passing over the same area 5 times. Due to
the darker skin tone, energy levels 1-3 may be more comfortable on the skin, however it requires repeated
passes over the same area.
When using energy levels 4 and 5, cover the same area twice. Due to the higher energy level delivered, it is
not necessary to repeat more than twice.
Note: It is recommended to use the higher energy settings to see optimal results within the first week. If
lower energy is used, additional time may be required.
Skin Types 4 and 5
It is recommended to treat every 3 days for the first 3 weeks to see the most effective results. After the initial 3
weeks, continue with top-up treatments 2-3 times per week as and when needed.
What to expect when using Duo
•Aflash of light – it will not harm the eyes when the applicator is applied with full contact to the skin, on the
recommended treatment areas, but avoid looking directly at the flash.
• Fan noise – Lower than that of a hair dryer.
• A pop noise with each pulse – whenever a pulse is activated.
• A sensation of warmth – from the light energy after each pulse.
• A mild stinging sensation - similar to that of being snapped with a rubber band.
