3. Place a container under the spouts of the portalter. Make sure the steam control knob is at the

“OFF” position.

4. Plug the appliance in, press power button, power indicator lights up in red color, the machine

starts to preheat, the coee button indicator ashes in green color during preheating. When the

coee button indicator become solid green, the preheating is nished.

5. Press the coee button, the appliance starts to pump water, water will pass through the

system, then ow into the container. Repeat the operation for 3 times or more. Empty the

container if needed during this process.

6. Place the steam wand into a container. Press the coee button, once the appliance starts to

pump water, slowly turn the steam control knob until water dispenses. Leave it dispensing for

at least 30 seconds, then switch the steam control knob to “o”. Take care while performing

this process as hot water may pulse out of the container, and it may emit hot steam.

7. Now the appliance is ready for making coee.

NOTE: When the container is almost full, press the coee button again to stop pumping water

immediately. There may be abnormal noises when pumping water for the rst time or after a long

time not being used. These noises are normal because the appliance is releasing the air inside.

After about 20s, these noises shall disappear.

MAKE ESPRESSO COFFEE

1. Remove the portalter by turning it clockwise. Adding ground coee into the basket with

measuring spoon, a spoon of ground coee powder can make about a cup of top-grade

espresso coee, then press ground coee powder tightly with the tamper. See below.

2. Fit the whole portalter into the machine at the “UNLOCK” position, slowly turn the portalter

anticlockwise until it is at the “LOCK” position for secure installation. See below

3. Place a mug under the spouts.

4. After preheating is nished, press the coee button, coee will start to ow out. Please note

that the machine provides water for 2 cups. To make 1 cup, interrupt the water ow timely by

pressing the coee button again to stop.

5. After the coee ow stops, remove the portalter by turning it clockwise, ip the portalter

holder clip to hold the basket, then discard the used coee grinds.

6. Leave the portalter and basket to cool down completely, then rinse them under running water.

WARNING: Do not leave the coee maker unattended during making coee, as you may need to

operate it manually sometimes!
