Important!

— Read the instructions carefully before use.

Always follow the instructions.

— Do not let children near the pressure cooker

when in use.

— Do not put the pressure cooker into a heated

oven.

— Move the pressure cooker under pressure

with the greatest care.

— Do not touch hot surfaces. Use pot holders

and only touch the handles and knob.

— Do not use the pressure cooker for a purpose

other than the one for which it is intended.

— This appliance cooks under pressure. Scalds

may result from inappropriate use of the

pressure cooker. Make sure that the cooker is

properly closed before applying heat.

— Never use your pressure cooker without

adding water, this would seriously damage it.

— Never force open the pressure cooker.

Do not open before making sure that its

internal pressure has completely dropped.

For instructions how to open the cooker, see

chapter “At the end of the cooking time”.

— Do not ll the cooker beyond 2/3 of its

capacity. When cooking foodstuffs which

expand during cooking, such as rice or

dehydrated vegetables, do not ll the cooker

to more than 1/3 of its capacity.

— After cooking meat with skin (e.g.ox tongue)

which may swell under the effect of pressure,

do not prick the meat while the skin is

swollen; you might be scalded.

— When cooking doughy food, gently shake the

cooker before opening the lid to avoid food

ejection.

— Before each use, check that the gasket is

clean and that the valves are not obstructed.

If you should observe any defect, do not use

the cooker.

— Never use the pressure cooker in its

pressurized mode for deep or shallow frying

of food.

— Do not tamper with any of the safety systems

beyond the maintenance instructions

specied in the instructions for use.

— Only use manufacturer’s spare parts in

accordance with the relevant model. If you

have any problem with the product, please,

contact your nearest IKEA store/ Customer

service or see www.ikea.com.

— The product is intended for household use

only.

Good to know:

— The pressure cooker is suitable for use on all

types of hobs.

— The cooker can be used as a traditional pot

to brown food before pressure cooking.

— By placing the cooker on a hob with the same

or a smaller diameter you can save energy.

— Always lift the cooker when moving it on

a glass ceramic hob to avoid the risk of

scratching the hob.

— Bear in mind that the cooker gets hot during

use. Always handle with pot holders.

— Never let the pressure cooker boil dry, this

would seriously damage it.

— The pressure cooker is designed exclusively

for cooking, not for storing food. Food that is

stored in the cookware for a longer period

may affect the surface and take on the taste

of metal.

— Make certain the ames do not touch the

handles when the cooker is used on a gas

hob.

Before using for the rst time:

— Read all the instructions carefully.

— Fill the pressure cooker halfway with water

and close the lid according to the instructions

oppå gryten. Dette hindrer at pakningen

tørker ut, og forlenger pakningens levetid.

Rengjøring av sikkerhetsventilen,

trykkindikatoren og trykkreguleringsventilen:

— Vask sikkerhetsventilen, trykkindikatoren og

trykkreguleringsventilen for hånd etter hver

bruk, med vann og oppvaskmiddel. Hold

delene under rennende vann for å se om de

er blitt helt rene.

— Ikke bruk skarpe gjenstander for å fjerne

inntørkede matrester fra de ovennevnte

delene. Det er enklere å rengjøre

trykkokeren etter at den er bløtlagt i vann.

— Trykkindikatoren og sikkerhetsventilen kan

demonteres for grundig rengjøring. Snu

lokket opp-ned, og ta ut skruene med en

stjernenøkkel.

— Trykkregulatoren kan demonteres fra

lokket for grundig rengjøring. Ta tak i

trykkreguleringsventilen, og dra den

oppover.

Viktig!

— Hvis du demonterer trykkreguleringsventilen

fra lokket, må du være ekstra oppmerksom

på at delene settes på riktig plass når du

skal montere den igjen. Sørg for at hakket

på trykkreguleringsventilen passer mot

nøkkelen på panelet.

Rengjøring av dampinnsatsen

— Vask, skyll og tørk innsatsen forsiktig før du

bruker den første gang.

— Innsatsen tåler oppvaskmaskin. Tørk

av innsatsen etter vask for å unngå

flekkdannelse eller kalkavsetninger fra

vannet. Flekker og merker kan fjernes med

litt eddik oppløst i lunkent vann. Saltflekker

kan gnis av med en svamp.

— Bruk ikke stålull eller annet som kan lage

riper i overflaten.
