Warning Indications
Indication Meaning/Action
(Battery indicator)
•
Displays the remaining battery power. –
•
As the battery power comes close to nil, the battery
indicator blinks. When the battery power is exhausted,
power turns off automatically.

SET DATE/TIME!
•
Appears when the date/time is not set. 14
CHECK LENS COVER
•
Appears for 5 seconds after power is turned on in recording
mode if the lens cover is closed or when it is dark.
–
MEMORY CARD ERROR!
•
Turn off the camcorder. Remove the SD card and insert it
again. Turn on the camcorder after inserting the SD card. If
the error message appears again, replace the card with one
that is confirmed to operate correctly.

VIDEO MANAGEMENT
FILE IS DAMAGED,
RECOVERY IS REQUIRED
TO RECORD/PLAYBACK.
RECOVER?
•
The video management file is damaged. Recovery is
required to record or play back video files. Select [YES],
then touch the OK button to recover the video management
file.

RECORDING FAILURE
•
The writing speed of SD card is slow, or the SD card is
corrupted. Use an SD card that is confirmed to operate
correctly.
•
Appears when the SD card is full and recording is not
possible. Delete unnecessary files, or replace the SD card.

POWER IS OFF,
OR USB DEVICE IS
UNSUPPORTED
•
Appears when an incompatible USB device is connected to
the camcorder.
•
Appears when a DVD burner that is switched off is
connected. If you want to use the DVD burner, switch the
power on.

Confirm the operation procedure and try recording again.
