Operation, setting and use

of the appliance

Manual setting and starting a cooking process

To set all parameters for a cooking process manually,

proceed as follows:

• To select a cooking function / heating type,

press the key for microwave and oven functions

or the

key for steam cooking functions,

if necessary, several times or by subsequently touching

the and keys until the desired cooking function is

displayed as described in the corresponding table.

• When the cooking function is selected, the respective

presettings of the parameters (microwave power, coo-

king temperature, grill level, steam value, if applicable)

and the cooking time are shown in the corresponding

display elds.

• To change one of the preset values, activate the desired

parameter setting by touching the key several

times, if necessary, until the corresponding display

starts ashing.

• As long as the activated setting display is ashing, use

the and keys to select the desired value from the

available options and then wait a few seconds

until the display stops ashing.

The current setting is then accepted.

• Proceed in the same way for each further change of the

parameter settings.

• To change the preset cooking duration, activate its

setting with the key (display starts ashing) and

use the and keys to set the desired time within the

adjustable range while the display is ashing.

• Start the cooking process by touching the key.

The heating process starts and the time display shows

the countdown of the set cooking duration.

• After the cooking time has elapsed, operation stops

automatically.

General notes on operation

The following instructions apply to both manually set

cooking processes and automatic programmes

(described later below):

• The settings can each be changed as long as the corres-

ponding setting display is activated and ashing.

If no key is touched for a few seconds and the display

stops ashing, the current setting is automatically

applied.

• If no key is touched for 5 minutes during setting or

interrupted operation (pause), the appliance switches

off automatically.

• When the door is opened during operation, the cooking

process is automatically interrupted (pause).

Continue cooking after closing the door by touching

the key.

• The oven lighting remains on during operation,

even if operation is interrupted (pause).

Change, Cancel, Pause and Exit

• To discard the current settings and return to standby

mode, touch the key during the setting process.

• To change the parameter settings during cooking,

touch the key during operation or, if applicable,

the key for changing the cooking duration (in auto-

matic programmes, this is only possible via the cooking

quantity setting) and then use the

and

keys as

described previously.

• To interrupt a cooking process, touch the key during

operation.

The cooking process is paused.

• To resume cooking after pausing, touch the key.

• To cancel the cooking process / end it prematurely,

touch the key again after pausing.
