PREP ARING THE APPLIANCE
Each individual appliance is checked at the factory , but for
safety’ s sake, after unpacking it, you should check car efully
that it has not been damaged during transport.
• Checkwhetherthereisanyvisibledamage(e.g.intheformofdentsorsimilar),
if the door closes properly , and if the hinges ar e in order .
• Iftheapplianceappearstohavebeendamaged,contacttheshopwhereyou
bought it, and do not use it until it has been checked by an authorised specialist.
• Beforeuse,checkthatyouhaver emovedallpackaginginsideandout.
Positioning the appliance
• Theappliancemuststandonaatsurfacecapableofbearingitsweight(approx
10.5kg).
• Theapplianceisnotsuitableforbuilt-intting.Theremustbeaclearanceof
atleast7.5cmattherear ,7.5cmatthesidesand30cmabovetoensure
sufcientventilation.
• Checkthattheventholesinthecabinetarenotcover ed.Iftheyarecovered
whiletheapplianceisinuse,thereisariskofoverheating.Donotusethe
appliance until it has cooled down.
• Donotremovetherubberfeet.
Connection
Theappliancemustbeconnectedtoa230-voltACcurrent,50Hz.Theguaranteeis
not valid if it is connected to the wrong voltage. When the appliance is connected to
thepowersupply ,thedisplay(7)shows“0:00”andonebeepishear d.
Setting the clock
1. Pressthe“Clock/Pr e-Set”button(c).Thetimeisshownonthedisplayandthe
hourdigitswillbegintoash.
2. T urntheselectorbutton(f)tosetthehour .
3. Pressthe”Clock/Pr e-set”button;theminutedigitswillbegintoash.
4. T urntheselectorbuttontosettheminutes.
5. Pressthe”Clock/Pr e-set”buttontocompletethetask.
6. Thetwodotsbetweenthegureswillstarttoash,whichmeanstheclockis
functioning.
Inserting the glass turntable
Beforeuse,ensur etheglassturntable(4)iscorrectlyseatedonitsrollerring(5)and
spindle(6).Thethreedowelsontheglassturntableshouldtinbetweenthethree
dowelsonthespindle.Thethreer ollersontheturningringshouldruninthecircular
track on the underside of the glass turntable.
Before using for the rst time
Asmallamountofsmokeandsmellmaybeemittedwhentheapplianceisusedfor
thersttime.Thisisduetooilresiduefr ommanufactureandisneitherabnormal
nordangerous.Smellscanbeeliminatedbystartingthemicr owaveovenandletting
itrunforafewminutes.Smellsandsmokeshoulddisappearasaresult.Repeatthe
procedur e if this is not the case.
OPERA TING THE APPLIANCE
Basicoperation
• Placethefoodtobecookedintheapplianceandclosethedoor .Selectcooking
function as described below and start the appliance.
oIfyoudonotstarttheappliancewithinapprox.1minuteofsetting
programme and time, the setting is cancelled and the display r eturns to
showing the clock.
oThemaximumcookingtimethatcanbesetmanuallyis95minutes.
• Oncethecookingtimesethaselapsed,theovenwillswitchoffautomatically .
Theovenwillbeep5times,andthedisplaywillreturntoshowingtheclock.
T emporary interruption of cooking
• Cookingcanbetemporarilyinterruptedatanytimebypressingthe”Stop/
Clear”button(d)once.Ifyoupressthebuttontwice,thecookingtimeandthe
programme selected will be cancelled.
• Cookingcanalsobetemporarilyinterruptedbyopeningthedoor(practicalifthe
food needs turning).
• Whencookingistemporarilyinterrupted,thedisplaywillshowtheremaining
cooking time.
• T oresumecooking,closetheovendoor(ifithasbeenopened)andpressthe
”Start/+30Sec./Conrm”button(e).
