The AMG steering wheel buttons are two addi-
tional control elements on the steering wheel.
You can assign two vehicle functions of your
choice to the le control element. You can
change between theavailable functions for corre-
sponding button 1by pressing display switch 2
on the upper or lower area repeatedly. The display
switch 2shows each function selected.
The following functions are available:

öAMG Performance exhaust system

dManual gearshiing (/page 12)
gAMG Dynamics (/page 9)
çECO start/stop function (see thevehicle
operator's manual)
If you have assigned specic functions to display
switch 2,you can operate these functions with
corresponding button 1.
The assignment of display switch 2remains
stored even aer a new engine start, but the oper-
ating status of therespective function is reset to
the basic setting.
You can change between the drive programs with
control knob 3. The drive program selected
appears in display switch 4. Press the display
switch 4to go directly to the drive program
=(/page 9).

#Start thevehicle with the start/stop button
and simultaneously pull one of the steering
wheel gearshi paddles 1or 2.
RThe idle speed is increased briey when
starting the engine.
