- Search by folder:
1. Press AMS button thrice. The display will show “DIR SCH” for a few seconds and
change to total folder number.
2. Rotate the SELECT/VOLUME knob to search your desired folder name, press SELECT/
VOLUME knob to enter the selected folder.
3. Rotate the SELECT/VOLUME knob to select your desired track, press SELECT/
VOLUME button to start playback.
Note:
* Do not use CDs with irregular shape (for example octagonal or heart-shaped).
* CD-Rs or CD-RWs playback capability of this player may vary depending on quality
media, CD-Burner, burning speed and application software.
* There are many USB devices or SD card on the market. We cannot guarantee to
support all different models. Please try another USB device or SD card if your device
is not supported.
* The unit might not support all the multimedia les stored in SD card or USB because
it includes some special playback procedure which might not be compatible with the
procedure of this unit.
* The total number of MP3 les in the disc/ USB/ SD card should not exceed 999.
* The total number of directories in the disc/ USB/ SD card should not exceed 999.
ESP function
The ESP (Electronic Shock Protection) works for all formats of discs.
Press AMS button twice. The display will show “ FILE SCH” for a few seconds and change
to “ ”. Enter the characters by pressing the corresponding buttons. (You can
also select the characters by rotating the SELECT/VOLUME knob.) Press SELECT/
VOLUME knob to conrm your input and start le search. The display will show the le
name when it is found. Press SELECT/VOLUME to start playback.
Note: In case of wrong input, press AMS button to cancel it.

1. Connect your auxiliary source (e.g. mp3 player) to the AUX IN jack.
2. Press PWR button to turn the unit on.
3. Press 7/MOD to select AUX mode. “AUX” appears on display.
4. Start playback from your auxiliary source.
5. Adjust the volume to desired level.
6. Disconnect your auxiliary source from the Aux in jack, press 7/MOD button to select
other source.

PAIRING
On the mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and select “M-1230BT” from the Device List.
(Refer to the user manual of the mobile phone to be connected for detailed operations.)
If the mobile phone prompts for a passcode, use “0000”. Some Bluetooth devices will
ask you to accept the connection.
When pairing is successful, “LINKED” will appear on display for a few seconds. The
Bluetooth symbol appears on display.
Use your mobile phone to do connection or disconnection.
The Bluetooth symbol will disappear from display when the Bluetooth function on your
mobile phone is turned off.

Answering / rejecting an incoming call
Press key to answer the incoming call.

• Checking phone book / received / dialed / missed call
Press 7/MOD button repeatedly until “PHONE” appears on display. Press T-MENU button
for 2 seconds and “BOOK” appears on display. Press T-MENU button repeatedly to show
items as below: BOOK---RECEIVED---DIALED---MISSED---PHONE
In each item you can use or button to check corresponding number.
For the rst time, your mobile phone will receive a message that the unit will visit your
phone via Bluetooth. You have to agree and press “YES” to conrm.

Precaution
- Clean the front panel with a soft cloth, or damp chamois leather. Never use solvents.

- Do not be exposed to dripping or splashing, and that no object lled with liquids, such
as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

Cleaning the Connector
If the connector between the main unit and the front panel is dirty, may result in abnormal
working condition. To avoid such problems, please detach the front panel, and clean
the connector with an alcohol swab. Gently clean and avoid damaging the connector.
Notes:
For the sake of safety, always shut down the engine and take out the ignition key before
cleaning. Never keep your nger or any metal device on the connector directly.
Replacing the Fuse
Make sure the amperage matches the specied value when replacing the fuses. If the fuse
is blown, check the power connection and replace with a new one. If the same problem
occurs, it would be subjected to the malfunction in-house. In such cases, please consult
the nearest service dealer.
• Call out
Making an outgoing call by inputting the phone number manually.
Press 7/MOD button repeatedly until “PHONE” appears on display. Press button once.
The display will become blank. Enter phone number with number buttons and press
SELECT/VOLUME knob to conrm the dialing.
(Note: In case you inputted a wrong number, press T-MENU button to cancel it.)
To input */# , operate as below:
* : press and hold 5/*/DIR- button for 2 seconds.
# : press and hold 6/#/DIR+ button for 2 seconds.
• TRANSFER THE CALL BETWEEN MOBILE PHONE AND THE UNIT
During the talking mode, press and hold T-MENU button to transfer the phone call between
the mobile phone and the unit.
BLUETOOTH AUDIO
The unit supports Bluetooth audio function. You can play the audio le in your mobile
phone via the car radio. With the mobile phone paired, press 7/MOD button repeatedly
until “PHONE” appears on display. Start audio playback from your mobile phone and its
sound will be heard through the car radio.
Press 1/PAU button to pause playback. Press again to resume playback.
Press / to select track.
Note: If the car radio is connected to other Bluetooth device instead of mobile phone, the
sound will be cut and PAU / / buttons become no function when AMS button is
pressed twice in the cause of Bluetooth audio streaming. If you encounter this situation,
turn OFF and then ON again the Bluetooth function in your Bluetooth device and reconnect
it to the car radio again.
Notes:
- This system will not operate or may operate improperly with some Bluetooth mobile
phones / audio players.
- There are many mobile phones in the market. We cannot guarantee the compatibility
of all mobile phones together with the unit.
- If you found the conversation is not clear, try to move closer to the microphone.
- For different model of mobile phone, Bluetooth emissive power has some difference.
To get the best conversation quality, it is recommended that the distance between the
mobile phone and the unit is within 3 meters.
Searching a track in MP3-CD/USB/SD:
- Search by track number:
Press AMS button once. The display will show “NUM SCH” for a few seconds and change
to “NUM ”. Press the number button 0-9 to select the track number, and press
SELECT/VOLUME knob to conrm and start playback.
- Searching by File Name
The unit searches les that have the same character which is inputted by the user. Press
the corresponding buttons listed on the below.

Load/Remove a disc
Press PWR button to turn on the unit.
Insert the disc into the disc slot with the printed side facing up. Playback starts
automatically. The CD icon will blink on display.
To remove the disc, press .
To insert an USB device (not included)
Connect your USB device to the USB port on front panel. It will switch to USB mode and
start playback automatically. The USB icon will blink on display.
To insert a SD card (not included)
Detach the front panel and insert a SD card to the card slot. Install the front panel again. It
will switch to card mode and start playback automatically. The SD icon will blink on display.
Basic player functions
Play/pause: press 1/PAU to suspend momentarily the playing track. Press again to
resume playback.
Skip/fast search: press to skip forward to next track or press to skip backward to
previous track. Press and hold or to search quickly within a track.
Intro playback:
Press 2/INT button. “INT ON” appears on display for a few seconds. It will start to play
rst 10 seconds of each track. Press 2/INT button again to cancel intro playback. “INT
OFF” appears on display for a few seconds.
Repeat:
Press 3/RPT button once to repeat your desired track, and “RPT ONE” appears on display
for a few seconds. Press 3/RPT again to repeat all tracks, and “RPT ALL ” appears on
display for a few seconds.
Random playback:
Press 4/RDM button to play all les in random order, and “RDM ON” appears on display
for a few seconds. Press 4/RDM again to cancel this function, and “RDM OFF” appears
on display for a few seconds.
Directory selection:
Press DIR- button or DIR + button to select directory downward or upward.
(Note: If it does not contain any directory in the MP3 disc/ USB/ SD, there is no function
when pressing DIR- button or DIR + button.)
