DISC AUDIO

DIGITAL OUT

Set VISO TWO’s “Digital Out” according to the type of audio system you use.

Bitstream: Select “Bitstream” if you connect the VISO TWO’s digital OUT

jack to an amplier or other equipment with a Dolby Digital, DTS or

MPEG decoder.

PCM: Select when connected to a two-channel digital stereo

amplier. DVDs encoded in Dolby Digital or MPEG will be automatically

downmixed to two-channel PCM audio.

DISC TYPE

Some DVD-Audio discs contain the DVD-Video content in addition to

the DVD-Audio content. You can choose DVD-Audio or DVD-Video mode

depending on your preference.

DVD-AUDIO : Select to playback both DVD-Audio and DVD-Video

contents. DVD-Audio content only may be played back depending on

the disc.

DVD-Video : Select to playback only the DVD-Video content.

• Thissettingisonlyavailablewhennodiscisloadedinthedisctray.

• Selectedmodebecomeseectiveafteryouexitthesetupmenu.

• WhenaDVD-Audiodiscisplayedback,“DVDAudio”isshownintheVFD.

• Whenyouselect“DVD-Video”,“DVD-Video”willbebrieyshowninthe

VFDandthenrevertstonormaldisplayplaybackinformation.

MOVING TO ANOTHER GROUP

Some DVD Audio discs divide content into dierent groups. Your player

enables you to quickly access dierent groups during playback via the

on-screen display.

1 Press DISP during playback

2 Press [ ] to highlight “G”.

3 Enter group number using the numeric buttons 0-9.

PCM FORMAT

The VISO TWO is compatible with both 48 kHz and 96 kHz PCM formats.

96kHz: Select to handle 96kHz signal - each type of signal will pass

through without any further processing.

96kHz > 48kHz: Select for 96KHz signal to be automatically converted

to 48KHz enabling decoding of compatible media.

DISC LANGUAGE

AUDIO/SUBTITLE/MENU

Depending on the DVD media, only the Audio, Subtitles and Menus

recorded on the DVD media are available. When a language is chosen, it will

become the default setting unless the DVD media overrides the settings.

Select among Original, English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian,

Russian and Swedish as the desired language setting.

If you do not want the disc’s subtitles to be shown, select “O”.

PARENTAL CONTROL

PASSWORD

PASSWORD is needed to gain access to the “Rating Level” below. The

following are the steps for you to enable or change your password.

1 While at “Password” line menu, press [ENTER]. A menu screen like the

one shown below will appear

2 Input the 4-digit “Old Password” – the preset “Old Password” is “2580”.

3 You can now set your own password by entering your desired 4-digit

password at the “New Password” option. Press [ENTER].

4 After entering your new password, re-enter again your new 4-digit

password at the “Conrm” option. Upon entering the correct password

at “Conrm” option, the password menu window will turn o bringing

you back to “Parental Control” menu screen.

NOTE

 Ifthepasswordenteredat“OldPassword”or“Conrm”windowisincorrect,

youwillremaininthesamemenuitemlike“OldPassword”orbereturnedto

“NewPassword”.Youcannotmoveforwardtothenextsequenceunlessthe

correctpasswordisentered.Select“Exit”inthepasswordmenuscreentoexit

thesequenceifyouareunabletoenterthecorrectpassword.
