If you press this key , the device indicates what the current settings are by
way of the red status LED. The green status LED indicates the start status.
First, the green status LED flashes, and then the red status LED indicates
the status. The first time that the red status LED flashes, it indicates the
preset light level. The second time it indicates the switch-off delay (see
section 3.3.).
For example: The mini detector is set to 300 lux and 10 minutes. Press
insert symbol: the green status LED flashes once and the red status LED
five times (= 300 lux), then the green status LED flashes once more and the
red status LED flashes four times

three times within 5 s.
After this, the mini detector will again work according to the selected
settings. The red status LED flashes once by way of confirmation.
5. OPERA TION AND USE
5.1 . I nit ial u se
Only attach the mini detector to a power supply after all of the cables have been connected. The mini detector
is ready for use approximately 40 seconds (warm-up time) after you have switched on the power supply.
While the device is warming up, the red indication LED will flash (0.25 s on and 2 s off) and the load will be
switched off for 40 s. Once the device is warmed up, the green status LED flashes twice in rapid succession.
5.2. General operation
The integrated light sensor continuously measures the daylight level in the detection area and compares this
level to the preset lux value. Thanks to the light sensor , the light switches on automatically only if the mini
detector detects motion within the detection range and if there is insufficient daylight present:
• The lighting r ema ins s wi tch ed o n as lo ng as motion is detected and as l ong there is insufficient
day lig ht present in the room.
• A ft er t he l ast m ot ion i s de te ct ed , the l igh ti ng re mai ns s wit ch ed on f or t he d ura ti on of t he
pr es et sw it ch- of f d elay ( 1 to 6 0 mi nut es). As soon as the switch-off delay has elapsed, the
lighting switches off .
• The lighting also switches of f automatically as soo n as t he l evel o f day lig ht is s uf f ici en tly h igh ,
eve n if at t ha t mom en t th er e is st il l mot io n de tec t ed in t he r oom.
5. 3. De te ct ion r an ge
Y ou can expand the detection range by connecting two mini detectors (350-20085) in parallel (master-master
arrangement) (also see Fig. 1). These mini detectors each control the lighting according to their own settings.
They have the same detection range (circular with a diameter of 9.5 m). In order to cover an entire area with
several detectors, we recommend that you take into account an overlap of approximately 30% (Fig. 6). In the
case of a master -master arrangement, the mini detectors function optimally in rooms with little or no daylight.
5.4. Examples of applications
Example 1: Attic
Operation of the absence detector:
• The lighting is automatically switched off , after a preset time period (switch-off dela y), if the mini
detector does not detect any more motion in the detection range or if the ambient light level exceeds the
preset lux value for a period of five minutes.
• You can on ly switch on the lighting again manually by briefly pressing the push button. If there is sufficient
light in the room, the lighting will however not be switched on by a short push on the button. Y ou can also
manually switch off the lighting (= eco-off).
• In addition, you can also pre ss a nd ho ld the push button, which is recommended in situations when the
lighting must be switched on or off for longer periods of time:
