2. Batteries should be replaced by a parent or guardian.
3. The lithium button battery should be stored out of the reach of children.
4. Always turn the power off and disconnect the Power Supply before replacing the lithium button battery.

Wii Power Supply Handling Precautions
Please note the following precautions when handling the Wii Power Supply. Failure to do so could result
in fire electrocution, or other damage.
• Only use the Wii Power Supply (RVL-002(EUR)) included with the Wii console (RVL-001(EUR)).
• The exclusive Power Supply conforms to Low Voltage Directive (2006/95/EC).
• The Power Supply is intended only as the power supply for the Wii console and is not a toy itself.
• The Power Supply is for indoor use only.
• If you hear a strange noise, see smoke, or smell something strange when using the Wii console,
immediately turn off the power, disconnect the AC plug from the wall socket, and contact the nearest
Nintendo Service Centre.
• The Power Supply used with the Wii console should be regularly examined for damage to the cord,
plug enclosure and other parts.
• Do not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the Power Supply.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of the Power Supply becomes damaged, it should be replaced by
the Nintendo Service Centre in order to avoid any potential hazards.
• Do not plug or unplug the Power Supply with wet or sweaty hands.
• Do not use a Power Supply that has come into contact with any liquids or has had a foreign object
inserted into it. In the event that this has happened, contact the nearest Nintendo Service Centre.
• Do not store or use the Power Supply in humid, dusty, or smoky environments.
• Do not use the Power Supply in places where it may be splashed with water or any other liquids,
i.e. juice, pet urine or oil, or in extremely humid places.
• Do not touch the AC pins on the plug with your fingers, or metal objects.
• Do not step on, pull, or excessively bend the Power Supply or cables.
• Do not overload the circuit by connecting an excessive amount of equipment (in daisy-chains).
• Please clean dust from the AC plug periodically using a dry cloth.
• Turn the console off first and pull on the plug rather than the cable. Pulling on the cable could cause
it to be damaged and may result in a fire or electrocution.
• Do not heat or place Power Supplies or cables near stoves or heaters.
• Do not apply excessive force to the cables (especially at the base of the cable).
• When the console is not being used for an extended period of time, always disconnect the
Power Supply from the wall socket, and place it in a location where small children cannot reach it.
• Always ensure that the AC pins on the plug are fully inserted into the socket.
• As a safety precaution, when you hear thunder, it is recommended to disconnect the Wii console
and to not touch the Power Supply or the console.
• Do not use travel transformers or incandescent-specific light dimmers because it may change the power
voltage.
