EN General warranty conditions

We reserve the right to make technical changes
handling and maintenance and as a result of errors during installa-
tion and connection of the appliance.
We assume no warranty for failure to observe the installation
instructions and operating manual and for the installation of spare
parts and accessories from (third-party) manufacturers other than
Olsberg.
The warranty shall expire if technical changes
(on or in the product) are carried out by persons
who are not authorised by Olsberg to do so.
Ceramic cladding
All ceramics in Olsberg products are manufactured in accord-
ance with the current edition of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Deutsche
Ofenkachel e.V. quality guidelines. Permissible dimensional devi-
ations (linear dimensions, torsion, angularity) are dened here in
compliance with the current standards. Hairline cracks are permit-
ted provided that they do not impair the functionality of the ceram-
ics. Each ceramic component is produced by hand, colour dier-
ences in glazes, as well as in lightness and shade may occur in
nuances between ceramic rings. These dierences may occur
clearly in the delivery of individual ceramic spare parts and do not
constitute grounds for complaint. The mechanical properties are
dened in compliance with the current standards and are imple-
mented through production technology. The resistance of the
glazed surfaces to cleaning agents is tested in accordance with the
current standards.
Natural stone cladding
Our stone cladding is a natural product. Dierent textures, quartz-
like lines, quartz inclusions and similar, nuances in colour and colour
dierences, dierent stone inclusions and similar do not constitute
grounds for complaint.
The unique nature of this natural product means that you have a
unique piece installed in your living room. Only articial” products,
i.e. ceramics or sheet metal, are available for completely uniform
cladding.
The dierences in ceramic and natural stone cladding set out above
shall not result in warranty services.
Rights arising from the warranty
Within the warranty period, we will rectify all material defects which
can provably be attributed to production and/or material defects.
The rectication of defects shall be done through our choice of
repair or delivery of a defect-free item, within an appropriate time,
by us or a specialist company authorised by us.
The material defect must be reported to Olsberg via the responsible
specialist company immediately, and within two weeks of discov-
ery at the latest. If the material defect is indicated in good time
within the warranty period, then rectication of defects shall also be
undertaken after expiry of the warranty period.
Rectication of a material defect under the warranty shall not
extend the warranty period for the product as a whole.
In the event of repossession of goods, Olsberg shall be entitled
to assert the following claims for transfer for use and depreciation:
a) Costs such as transport, installation, insurance costs, etc. to the
amount actually incurred
B) The following at rates shall apply for depreciation and compen-
sation for use for the transfer of user for the goods delivered:
ū 15% of the list price without deductions valid at the time of
purchase in the rst year
ū 25% of the list price without deductions valid at the time of
purchase in the second year
ū 30% of the list price without deductions valid at the time of
purchase in the third year
Liability
Any further or other claims, in particularly claims for damages for
damage which occurred outside the appliance, are excluded unless
liability is prescribed by law.
Olsberg shall bear no liability for damage caused directly or indi-
rectly by appliances. This also includes soiling of rooms which may
be deposited as a dark layer on wallpapers, furniture, textiles and
heater parts as a result of the decomposition processes of organic
components in dust and the pyrolysis products.
The eects of fogging are also excluded from the liability.
Customer service
In the event of unwarranted use of our customer service, all of the
customer service costs (travel expenses, freight and packaging
costs, material and installer costs, plus the statutory value added
tax) shall be borne in full be the customer.
Note
We would like to inform you that our high-quality service organi-
sation is still available to you for a fee after expiry of the warranty
period. However, the specialist company that you bought your
high-quality replace from is your rst port of call.
You will receive separate quotes for services outwith these warranty
conditions.
