GETTING STARTED
To begin using your camera, you must first install battery. Please read the directions below. If you are not sure how to
do this, ask an adult to help you.
To use the camera with a PC, please read the specifications at the back of this manual for system requirements.
THE CAMERA

1. CAPTURE BUTTON
Press this to take a picture.
2. VIEWFINDER
Look through this to see what you are taking a picture of.
3. LENS
Aim this at what you want to take a picture of.
4. PC INTERFACE SOCKET
Plug the camera connector at the end of the cable in here, to connect your camera to a PC.
5. LED INDICATOR
When this light is on, it will tell you if the camera is ready to take a picture.
6. CARRYING STRAP
For carrying your camera.
7. BATTERY COVER
This is the cover for the battery compartment. You must remove it to put in a new battery. Always make sure to put the
battery cover back on carefully before you turn the camera on.
8. ON/OFF SWITCH
Turns your camera on and off. Make sure this is turned off before you replace the battery.
9. CAMERA CONNECTOR
Plug this into the camera to connect it to a PC.
