Settings

[Closed caption]

Sets the color of the closed captions and selections.

1) Press

▲▼

to select [Closed caption].

2) Press the <SELECT> button.

The sub menu 2 is displayed.

3) Press

▲▼

to select an item.

[Closed

caption]

[Off], [CC1], [CC2], [CC3], [CC4]

[Color]

[Color]/[White]

Displays in original colors.

Note

This function can only be used when the input

signal is composite video or S-video.

The closed caption is not displayed when the menu

screen is displayed.

[Filter counter]

1) Press

to select [Filter counter].

2) Press the <SELECT> button.

The sub menu 2 is displayed.

3) Press

▲▼

to select an item.

[Filter counter]

Displays usage time.

■

This is displayed in red if a blockage is detected

or if the usage time exceeds the time set in

[Filter counter timer].

[Filter counter remaining]

The remaining time for the lter counter is

displayed in units of 10%.

■

This is displayed in red when the remaining

time is 10%.

Note

When the remaining time drops to 10% or below,

is displayed, and when it reaches 0%, is

displayed.

[Filter type]

Selects the type of lter to be used.

1) Select [Filter type], and press the

<SELECT> button.

[Normal] When a normal lter is used

[Special]

When a smoke cut lter (optional) is

used

3) Press the <SELECT> button.

4) Select [Yes], and press the <SELECT>

button.

Attention

Always use the projector with lter installed.

Select the lter type to be the same as the one you

are using.

[Filter counter timer]

Sets a time to display a notication that the lter

has reached the end of its replacement cycle.

1) Select [Filter counter timer], and press

the <SELECT> button.

2) Press

to select an item.

3) Press the <SELECT> button.

[Off] [1000 H] [2000 H]

[5000 H] [4000 H] [3000 H]

Note

When [Off] is selected, blockages are detected

automatically.

When the smoke cut lter (optional) is used, the set

time is selected from among [Off], [10 H], [15 H],

and [20 H].

When the set time is exceeded,

is displayed.
