Using the magazine attachment
Setting the screw length:
♦ Undo the screw
.
♦ Set the required screw length using the screw
.
Position the locking tab in the provided slot for
the required screw length.
♦ Retighten the screw .

Setting the screw-in depth:
♦ Set the required screw-in depth using the
screw
.
■ You can work out the required screw-in depth
by trial and error.

NOTE
► Check the direction of rotation before starting
work. The magazine attachment
may
only be used when the direction is set to
"clockwise" (see section "Setting the rotation
direction").
Screwing in screws:
♦ Always apply the magazine attachment
to
the workpiece at right angles. The screw stop
must be over the screwing location.
♦ Switch on the device on switch
.
♦ Apply even pressure to the workpiece until the
screw is screwed in.
♦ Raise the screw stop
briefly so that it jumps
back to its starting position. The next screw is
transported into the working position when it is
actuated again.
As soon as the screw-in depth is reached, the
drive disengages and the screw bit stops
turning.
NOTE
► Screws which have already been screwed in
cannot be unscrewed or tightened with the
magazine attachment
fitted.
To do this, remove the magazine attachment
and use the depth stop sleeve
.
Using the depth stop sleeve
The depth stop sleeve allows you to determine
the screw-in depth of screws.
Setting the screw-in depth:
♦ Turn the adjusting ring
clockwise (seen from
your working position) to reduce the screw-in
depth.
♦ Turn the adjusting ring
anticlockwise (seen
from your working position) to increase the
screw-in depth.
■ You can work out the required setting by trial
and error.
Screwing in screws:
♦ Place the screw bit
and the bit adapter
on the screw.
♦ Press the screw against the workpiece.
♦ Switch the appliance on.
♦ Screw the screw into the workpiece until the
preset screw-in depth is reached.
As soon as the screw-in depth is reached, the
drive disengages and the screw bit
stops
turning.
♦ Check the screw-in depth.
