■ Use only saw blades speciﬁed by the manufacturer which comply with

EN847-1 (intended for cutting wood or similar materials).

■ Use only saw blades marked with a speed equal to or higher than the

speed indicated on the power tool.

Assembly and fastening of tools and tool parts

■ Tools and tool bodies must be clamped so that they cannot come loose

during operation.

■ When mounting the tools, you must ensure that the clamping is carried

out on the tool hub or the clamping surface of the tool and that the

cutting edges do not come into contact with each other or with the

clamping elements.

■ Mounting screws and nuts must be tightened using suitable spanners

etc. and to the torque speciﬁed by the manufacturer (9–12 Nm).

■ Extending the spanner or using hammer blows to tighten bolts is not

permitted.

■ All dirt, grease, oil or water must removed from the clamping surfaces.

■ Clamping screws must be tightened according to the manufacturer's

instructions.

■ To adjust the bore diameter of circular saw blades to the spindle diameter

of the machine, use only ﬁrmly inserted rings, e.g. rings that are pressed

in or aﬃxed by adhesive bonding. The use of loose rings is not permitted.

Maintenance of tools

■ The maintenance of tools is not permitted. Danger due to imbalance!

Handling

Handle tools safely to avoid injury:

■ Wear personal protective equipment, especially protective gloves.

■ Make sure that you have secure footing.

■ Always wear closely ﬁtting clothing.

■ After you have ﬁtted the tool, re-attach all of machine's safety devices,

if any, correctly.

■ Have an expert carry out a test run.

the operating instructions and are compatible with the appliance.

Before use

Charging the battery pack

CAUTION!

► Always unplug the appliance before you remove the battery pack5

from or connect the battery pack to the battery charger.

NOTE

► Never charge the battery pack if the ambient temperature is below

10°C or above 40°C. If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for an

extended period, the charge level should be checked regularly. The

optimum charge level is between 50% and 80%. The storage climate

should be cool and dry, and the ambient temperature should be

between 0°C and 50°C.

♦ Insert the battery pack 5 into the battery charger .

♦ Insert the power plug into the socket. The red control LED * lights up.

♦ The green control LED ) indicates that the charging process is complete

and the battery pack 5 is ready for use.

♦ Always unplug the appliance before you remove the battery pack5

from the battery charger.
