Flash Disable Mode
Use this mode if you don’t want the built-in flash to
pop-up automatically. The flash will not pop-up
automatically even when it is dark nor lights when
the flash is in the up position.
1. Set the mode dial to [ ].
2. [ ] appears on the LCD panel.
• From among 5 modes, the camera selects the
best one depending on the size of the subject
and some other factors. The flash disable mode
is the same as the Auto Picture Mode except that
the built-in flash does not pop up.
• In the flash disable mode, the external flash will
not discharge either.
• When the lens aperture ring is set to other than
[ A ] with the mode dial set to [ ], the Aperture-
Priority AE Mode is automatically set.
