H.R.C. (Heart Rate Control)
You can choose from five training options: THR (Target Heart Rate), 55%, 65%, 75% and 85%.
55% : Target Heart Rate (target number of heartbeats) = 55% of (220-AGE)
65% : Target Heart Rate (target number of heartbeats) = 65% of (220-AGE)
75%: Target Heart Rate (target number of heartbeats) = 75% of (220-AGE)
85%: Target Heart Rate (target number of heartbeats) = 85% of (220-AGE)
55%, 65%, 75% and 85%
These programs allow you to train at 55% (P18), 65% (P19), 75% (P20) or 85% (P21) of your maximum heart
rate for a certain period of time. Press the START key to begin training and keep the palms of your hands on the
hand pulse sensors during the training. The computer will adapt the resistance automatically during the
training in order to reach the set value. If the value of your heart rate is lower than the set value, the computer
will automatically increase the resistance. If the value of your heart rate is higher than the set value, the
computer will automatically reduce the resistance.
Note: it is not possible to manually adjust the resistance during this program.
T.H.R. (Target Heart Rate)
This program allows you to train at a set maximum heart rate. Press the START key to begin training and keep
the palms of your hands on the hand pulse sensors during the training. The computer will adapt the resistance
automatically during the training in order to reach the set value. If the value of your heart rate is lower than the
set value, the computer will automatically increase the resistance. If the value of your heart rate is higher than
the set value, the computer will automatically reduce the resistance.
Note: it is not possible to manually adjust the resistance during this program.
User program
With the user programs P14 - P17 you can create your own program. The settings and values will be stored in
the computer memory.
Watt-program
This program allows you to train at a certain level Watt. Press START and place your palms on the hand pulse
sensors during training. The computer will automatically adjust resistance during training to reach the set
value.
Note: it is not possible to manually adjust the resistance during this program.
Set values
You are able to set the different values, once a program has been selected. Press ENTER to select a value. Once
you have selected a value, it will start blinking. You can now adjust the value by pressing the UP and DOWN
buttons. Confirm by pressing the ENTER button.
Note: the values TIME and DISTANCE cannot both be set. You need to choose one of these two values.
Start
Once you have selected a program and all values are set, press START to begin training. Once the pre-set value
is reached, a tone sounds and the program stops automatically.
Heart Rate Measurement
Press START and then press ENTER until the PULSE function appears in the display. Keep your palms on the
hand pulse sensors. Your heart rate is measured in beats / minute.
Note: if no signal is transmitted to the sensors within 16 seconds, the message "P" appears in the display. This
is an energy saving mode. Repeat the above steps to measure your heart rate again.
