Voice messaging

1. For the telephone number to be notified:

– select voice messaging as the type of notification,

– enter the code, if the telephone user can confirm having listened to the voice message

and clear the messaging,

– indicate the alarm system user, if the telephone user is to automatically get access to

the voice menu after entering the code (the user must have the INT-VG ACCESS right).

2. Assign voice messages to text messages.

3. Synthesize the voice messages that are to be used for notification (see: “VG-Soft program

and voice module configuring” p. 99).

Voice messaging via analog telephone line

1. Disable the GSM option for the telephone number to be notified.

2. Configure the global options related to analog communicator telephone:

– determine how the telephone numbers should be dialed (TONE DIALING; in case of the

pulse dialing option – PULSE 1/1,5 (OFF 1/2)),

– determine whether the control panel, prior to dialing the number, should check the

telephone line for dialing signal (NO DIAL TONE TEST),

– determine whether the control panel is to play back the voice message after going off-

hook, or 8/16 seconds after the dialing is completed (NO ANSWER TONE TEST).

Voice messaging via GSM network

1. Enable the GSM option for the telephone number to be notified.

2. Enable the SIM1 option and/or SIM2 option in the settings of built-in GSM module.

SMS messaging

1. Select SMS as the type of messaging for the telephone number to be notified.

2. Enter the content of messages which are to be used for notification.

3. Configure the built-in GSM module:

– enable the SIM1 option and/or SIM2 option,

– enter the SMS center number.

12.2 E-mail messaging

This section describes e-mail messaging. E-mail messages can be sent via the Ethernet

module or GSM module. The content of e-mail messages is automatically generated by the

control panel.

12.2.1 Configuring the e-mail messaging

You can configure the parameters and options of e-mail messaging by means of the

DLOADX program: “VERSA – Structure” window “Hardware” tab [built-in communication

modules name] “Messaging” tab “E-MAIL” tab. Before making any changes, click on the

“Read” button, and after making the changes – on the “Write” button (the data relating to the

e-mail messaging are not read after clicking on the button or saved after clicking on the

button in the DLOADX program main menu).
