ADDITIONAL SAFETY RULES FOR SCROLL SAWS

• This scroll saw is intended for use in dry conditions,

and for indoor use only.

• Do not cut pieces of material too small to hold by hand

outside the blade guard.

• Avoid awkward hand positions where a sudden slip

could cause a hand to move into the blade.

• Always use the blade guard to avoid possible injury

due to blade breakage.

• Never leave the scroll saw work area with the power

table while the cutting tool is in operation.

• Never turn your scroll saw on before clearing the table

• The machine must only be used in technically perfect

con dition in accordance with its designated use and

the in structions set out in the operating manual, and

only by safety-conscious persons who are fully aware

of the risks involved in oerating the machine. Any

functional dis orders, especially those affecting the

safety of the machine, sholud terefore be rectiﬁed

immediately.

• The safety, work and maintenance instructions of the

manufacturer as well as the technical data given in

the calibrations and dimensions must be adhered to.

• Relevant accident prevention regulations and other,

gene rally recognized safety-technical rules must also

be adhered to.

• The machine may only be used, maintained, and

operated by persons familiar with it and instructed

in its operation and procedures. Arbitrary alterations

to the machine release the manufacturer from all

responsibility for any resulting damages.

• The machine may only be used with original accessories

and tools made by the manufacturer.

• Any other use exceeds authorization. The manufacturer

is not responsible for any damages resulting from un-

authorized use; risk is the sole responsibility of the

operator.

des espaces secs et non à I’exterieur.

• Ne découpez pas en dehors de la tôle de protection

des objets trop petits pour être tenus dans la main.

• Ne mettez pas votre main dans des positions

défavorables où elle risque dans un glissement soudain

de passer facilement dans la lame de scie.

• Travaillez toujours avec la tôle de protection aﬁn de

ne pas risquer de vous blesser dans une craquelure

de la lame descie.

• Ne quittez jamais votre lieu de travail quand la scie à

découper est en marche ou que la machine n’est pas

encore tout á fait arrêtée.

• Pendant que I’outil à découper est en service, vous

ne devez pas exécuter de travail de tracé, de montage

ou de onstruction.

• Ne mettez en marche la scie à découper qu’après

avoir retiré de la table tous les objets (outils, éclisses,

etc.), excepté la piéce d’œuvre et les objets destinés

à I’alimentation ou à servir de support pour le travail

projeté.

m Utilisation conforme

La machine est conforme à la directive machines CEE en

vigueur.

• Les consignes de sécurité, ainsi que les prescriptions

pour le travail et la maintenance, fournies par le

fabricant doivent être respectées au même titre que

les dimensions indiquées dans les caractéristiques

techniques.

• Les consignes correspondantes pour la prévention des

accidents et les autres réglementations généralement

reconnues doivent être respectées.

• Seules des personnes compétentes ayant été initiées

et informées sur les dangers possibles ont le droit

de manier, d’entretenir ou de réparer la machine.

Des modiﬁcations sur la machine effectuées

sans autorisation entraînent une exclusion de la

responsabilité du fabricant pour tous dangers éventuels

en résultant.

• La machine ne doit être utilisée qu’avec des

accessoires et des outils d’origine du fabricant.

• Toute utilisation autre que celle spéciﬁée est

considérée comme non conforme. Le fabricant ne

peut être tenu responsable pour d’éventuels dommages

résultant d’une telle utilisation, seul l’exploitant en

est responsable.
