Boot Camp:
W orkout Profile and Goal Pr ogram
The Console lets you select the Profile Pr ogram and type of Goal for your workout (Distance, Time or Calories), and set the
Goal value.
Note : F or ce r ta in Profile Prog rams, the Go al ca n not be adjus ted ( example : the 5K Pacer wor kout has a D istanc e Goa l of
5K ) .
1. Stand on the Side Foot Support Platforms.
2. Push the User button to select the desir ed User profile.
3. Pus h the Programs buttons to select a Categor y of W orkout.
4. Pus h the Increase( ) or Decr ease( ) buttons to sele ct a Profile Workout, and pus h OK.
If the se lec ted W or kout is Hea r t Rate T arget, the Consol e will re ques t the des ired Be ats Per Minu te ( BPM ) for the Workout.
Use the Increase( ) or Decr ease( ) buttons to adjust, an d push O K.
If the selected Workout Pr ogram has Incline and/or Speed Profile customization, the Console will pr ompt, “EDIT INCLINE”
screen. P ush the I ncrease () o r De creas e () but tons to change the cu rrent s ettin g, and push the Lef t() or Right () b ut-
tons t o shi f t the acti ve Profile seg ment. Push OK to accept the Incline Profile.
Note : The “EDIT SPEED” screen o perates the s ame way .
5. Use the Increase( ) or Decr ease( ) buttons to adjust the Minim um Spe ed of the Be lt, and push O K. T he Profile Prog ram
will adj ust so the Mi nimum S pee d value is th e lowest Spe ed of the Profil e Program w hen ac cepted.
6. Use the Increase( ) or Decr ease( ) buttons to adjust the Ma x imum Sp ee d of the Belt, and pu sh OK. T he Profil e Program
will adj ust so the M a xim um Spe ed valu e is the hig hest S pee d of the Profile Progra m whe n acc epted.
Dur ing a Workout, the User can d irectl y adjust the s pee d of the bel t above the Ma x imum S pee d set ting if de sired.
7 . Use the Increase( ) or Decrease( ) buttons t o sele ct a type of Goal (Distance, T ime or Calories) , and p ush OK .
8. Use the Increase( ) or Decr ease( ) buttons to adjust the workout value, and p ush OK .
9. The C onsol e will di splay the “R E ADY ? ” prompt.
10. Push ST A RT to begin the goa l-or iented workout. The wor kout will be gin af t er a three second, audible countdown.
Note : The Conso le will d ispl ay “RA MPING UP ” as the Walk ing Be lt gets up to spee d.
