Note: This function switches the time switch arbitrarily on
and off and is intended to prev ent burglaries b y simulating
an occupied house with e.g. lights switching on and off at
irregular intervals. Y our prepr ogrammed switching commands
are mov ed by a r andom amount up to 30 minutes on each
day . This function is only possible if one or more switching
commands have been set.

sequences. T o do this, repeat the abov e-described program-

Plug the device into a properly installed 220–250 V , 50 Hz
mains outlet socket. All the indicators in the L C display

appear briefly . Then the time indicator appears.
Note: In the event of a pow er cut, the in-built recharge-
able batter y ensures that the time is k ept going and the
automatic switching progr am remains activated. The
device is fully prog rammable without a pow er supply ,
as long as the rechargeable battery is fully charged.

mains outlet socket.
Before use
The time switch has an integral rechar geable batter y . This
ser ves t o retain stored data, e.g. time, date and switching
procedures. The r echargeable battery must be charged for
24 hours before first use. Y ou can make settings on the
device during the charging pr ocess.
Always check the de vice for damage before plugging it
into a mains outlet socket. Do not use the de vice if you
discover it is damaged in an y way . In the event of dam-
age, repairs or other pr oblems with the device, please
contact a specialist repair shop.
Do not plug in any de vices that hang from and ex ert
their self-weight on the plug. This will pre vent an y non-
permitted heating up of and mechanical damage to the
mains outlet socket.
Do not use the device with power outlet strips or e xtension
cables.
Please note that damage arising from improper handling,
non-obser vance of the oper ating instructions or interfer-
ence with the inside of the device by unauthorised persons
is ex cluded from the warr ant y .
The device is not suitable for switching inductiv e loads in
ex cess of 10 A (amper es). For this reason ne ver operate
electric motors or fluorescent lights fitted with con ven-
tional ballasts with this time switch. Ask an electrician or
