Your receiver will now check whether SFI data is
being received on the channel selected. This infroma-
tion will be displayed along the bottom of the window.
Update time
> In the line Update time use the numeric keys to
set the time at which you wish the automatic downlo-
ad of SFI data to be performed.
Updating
>To download the data of the data channel, mark the
line SFI Updating.
> Switch the function on by pressing OK .
If you do not wish to receive the additional data, or if you are
unable to receive the data because of your location, the data
reception function can also be switched off:
> Set the SFI Updating function to off, to switch off
the data reception. Only the programme information
provided by programme providers will then by availa-
ble.
Starting download procedure manually
>To start the updating of SFI data manually, press the
red function key Start now.
8.3 Parental control (blocking programmes)
Your unit is equipped with a parental control function. This
means that important functions (e.g. calling up the main
menu) can be protected from unauthorised manipulation. In
addition, programmes and recordings that you have specifi-
cally blocked can only be accessed after entering a four-digit
PIN code (unit PIN).
To work with the Parental Control menu proceed as fol-
lows:
> Press the Menu key to display the Main Menu.
> Use the arrow keys up/down to mark the line
Settings.
> Confirm by pressing OK.
The sub-menu Settings will be displayed.
> Use the arrow keys up/down to mark the line
Parental Control.
> Confirm by pressing OK.
The menu Parental Control will be displayed.

> Use the arrow keys up/down to move the marker
withing the menu, and to change the individual posi-
tions as indicated. When selecting a menu item, plea-
se also note any messages displayed on the screen.
8.3.1 Changing the receiver PIN code
The receiver PIN code is set at the factory to 0000.
