Displaying menus in a disc
To display menus in a disc that is playing
If a disc includes menus, you can use them.
Usually a DVD disc's main menu usually appears automatically after the disc is loaded, so go straight to step (2).
■ You must select DVD operation mode by pressing the [DVD] button on the remote
control.
For DVD press [MENU] button.
The main disc menu appears.
• When you are at some point in the disc menu structure, the effect of pressing
[MENU] is unpredictable and it is best to navigate the menus as the disc
authors intended, using navigation and [ENTER] buttons.
• If the disc has title menu, it is operated with [TITLE/PBC] button.
For VCD 2.0 press the [TITLE/PBC] button.
Every time pressing [TITLE/PBC] button, PBC function turns ON and OFF over
and over.
For VCD the menu screen only appears when "PBC ON" is selected.
• CD and VCD1.1 do not support the function.

For DVD use the navigation buttons [ ] to highlight your
choice and press [ENTER] to activate it.
For VCD 2.0, highlight a number or press corresponding number buttons
from the menu screen then press [SETUP/ENTER].
* To watch a movie without showing the menu screen, select “PBC OFF” mode
by pressing [TITLE/PBC] button. "PBC" means Play Back Control menu.
