The battery should provide 6 years of normal watch use. The actual
battery life may vary depending on actual use.
When the battery is depleted, have it replaced promptly. For battery

Thank you for purchasing this TX™ timepiece. TX Watch Company, Inc. has put all its
expertise and care into the design and development of your watch and we trust that
it will give you long and reliable service. This booklet provides all the necessary infor-
mation needed for watch repair and service.
Your TX timepiece is warranted against manufacturing defects by TX Watch
Company, Inc. for a period of two years from the original purchase date. This inter-
national warranty will be honored by TX and its worldwide affiliates.
Please note that TX Watch Company, Inc. may, at its discretion, replace rather than
repair your watch with an identical or similar model. IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE
THAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DEFECTS OR DAMAGES TO YOUR
WATCH IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:
1) after the warranty period expires;
2) if the watch was not originally purchased from an authorized TX retailer;
3) from repair and services not performed by Timex;
4) from accidents, tampering or abuse;
5) lens or crystal, strap or band, watch case, attachments or battery.
Timex may charge you for replacing any of these parts.

Ensure the correct AM/PM setting by verifying that the date changes at
midnight, not noon.
leap year offset
To maintain the correct date, the watch includes a setting for the current
leap year offset. This setting is made at the Timex factory or after
battery replacement and cannot be changed, only viewed.
To view the offset, pull the crown to its middle position. The center hand
shows the offset: 1 = 1 year after leap year; 2 = 2 years after leap year;
3 = 3 years after leap year; 4 = leap year. Push the crown in when done
and the hands resume their normal display of day, month, and date.
care and maintenance
Your watch is water-resistant to 10 ATM.
To maintain water-resistance, do not press any buttons under water.
Ensure that the crown is securely screwed into the case by pushing the
crown while simultaneously turning it in a clockwise motion.
1) The watch is water-resistant only as long as the lens, push buttons,
and case remain intact.
2) The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.
3) Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
The watch may be cleaned with a cloth and mild soap in warm water.
