Putting Through Calls R (14)
The flash button R (14) is used to put through a call via the flash system of the
telephone exchange (PABX). (See operating manual of the telephone exchange.)
Intercom (10) and (17)
The use of the intercom function between the handset and the baseset is unlimit-
ed and requires no external telephone connection.
From Baseset to Handset
1. To call the handset, press the intercom button (10) on the baseset.
2. The handset starts ringing.
3. Press the intercom button (17) on the handset to answer the call.
4. The intercom indicator (9) will light for as long as the device is used as an
intercom, as soon as the intercom call is finished, the intercom indicator (9)
will go out.
From Handset to Baseset
1. To call the baseset, press the intercom button (17) on the handset.
2. The handset starts ringing.
3. Press the intercom button (10) on the baseset to answer the call.
4. The intercom indicator will light for as long as the device is used as an inter-
com, as soon as the intercom call is finished, the intercom indicator (9) will
go out.
Mute Function
As long as you keep the mute button ( 1 8 ) pressed during a conversation,
your correspondent will not be able to hear you.
MEMORY
Storing a Telephone Number
When the telephone is in the standby mode, 10 telephone numbers can be
stored. Each number can consist of maximum 20 digits.
1. Press the memory button (12).
2. The battery indicator (8) blinks.
3. Press the button (0 - 9) under which you want to store the number.
4. The battery indicator (8) lights continuously.
5. Dial the number you want to store.
6. Press the memory button (12) to confirm the number.
7. A confirmation beep will be heard and the battery indicator (8) goes out.
In the standby mode, the last number dialled can also be stored under one of the
buttons (0 - 9).
1. Press the memory button (12).
2. The battery indicator (8) blinks.
3. Press the button (0 - 9) under which you want to store the number.
4. The battery indicator (8) lights continuously.
5. Instead of dialling the telephone number, press the redial button (16).
6. Press the memory button (12) to confirm the number.
7. A confirmation beep will be heard and the battery indicator (8) goes out.
Note:
If for 10 seconds no number is dialled, the memory function will be canceled and
you will have to start again.
Dialling Memory Numbers
1. Press the line button (15) to establish radio contact between handset and
baseset.
2. First press the memory button (12) and then the button under which the
number you want to reach is stored (0 - 9).
3. The unit will dial the number automatically.
