Making a buttonhole For 3 dial model
1. Be sure that the declutch knob in the handwheel
is into the ( ) direction.
2. Make the position of the buttonhole on the fabric.

3. Attach the Buttonhole Foot. Make sure the
Button Plate

is set to the back side. (fig B)
Pull Button Plate

to the back, and set the
button. (fig B)
4. Set your machine as... (fig C)
Pattern selection dial to (No. 8)
Stitch length dial between 0.2-0.4
Zigzag width control dial between 3-5
5. Pull down the Buttonhole Lever

. Push the
Lever towards the back as shown (fig D).
6. Hold the thread lightly and start the machine.
Caution!
Do not touch the metal part of Buttonhole Lever
while sewing.
7. The buttonhole sewing is done in the order
shown in (fig E).
8. Stop the machine when buttonhole sewing is
done, and push the Buttonhole Lever back up.
To repeat buttonhole sewing after one buttonhole
is completed, set the needle to pierce the strating
point of the next buttonhole, pull the Buttonhole
Lever towards you and follow steps from 6 again.
9. Remove the fabric from the machine. Place a
pin through the bar tacks to prevent over-cutting.
Cut the center of the buttonhole with a
Buttonhole Cutter (fig F)

1. Vérifier que le bouton de débrayage est bien
enclenché vers ( ).
2. Marquer le point de départ de la boutonnière sur
le tissu. (fig. A)
3. Mettre en place le pied-de-biche boutonnière.
Veiller à ce que la plaque à bouton

se trouve
vers l’arriere. (fig. B)
Tirer la plaque à bouton
aa
en arrière, et régler
le bouton. (fig. B)
4. Régler votre machine comme indiqué... (fig. C)

0,2- 0,4
Cadran sélecteur de la largeur de point entre
3 - 5
5. Abaisser le levier de boutonnière

. Pousser le
levier vers l’arrière comme indiqué (fig. D).
6. Tenir le fil doucement et lancer la machine.
Attention!
Ne pas toucher la partie métallique du levier
boutonnière pendant la couture.
7. La couture de la boutonnière se fait dans l’ordre
indiqué (fig. E).
8. Arrêter la machine lorsque la boutonnière est
réalisée, et ramener le le levier boutonnière à
sa position initiale.
Si vous devez coudre plusieurs boutonnières,
mettez la fente à chaque point de départ, pousser
de nouveau le levier à boutonnière et suivre les
étapes à partir du point 6.
9. Enlever le tissu de la machine à l’aide d’une
épingle, marquer le point d’arrêt afin de ne pas
couper de trop. Percer la boutonnière au milieu
à l’aide découpe-vite (fig . F)
