When the W ater T ank ( 6) is empty and water in the Heating
Cham ber (1 0) is almo st use d up, the Hea ting Elem ent (1 6) will
auto matic ally shut o ff. The R eset L ight (1 5) illum inates to i ndica te
that t he Water T an k ( 6) nee ds to be re fill ed. In ord er to oper ate the
humidifier again follow these instruc tions:
• Turn the Pow er Switch (1 3) to the of f-p ositi on (

• Allo w the humi dif ier to coo l down fo r at least 30 m inutes .
• Fil l the Water Tank ( 6), and fo llow the “O PERATING

We recommend you clean the humidifier fre quently . In order to not
impair the perfor manc e of the humidifier, follow the instr uctions
for C leaning , Care and Sto rage.

• Rem ove the Water Tank (6 ) f rom the B ase (1 1 ).
• Op en the Tank Cap (8) by turn ing it cou nter-clo ckw ise and d rain
any wate r from t he Water T an k ( 6).
• Rin se the Water Tank (6) thoro ughly wi th lukewa rm water.
• W ipe the o uter sur face s of the Water Tank (6) with a c lean, damp c loth.
• T o operate the humidifier follow the instruc tions under
“OPERATING INSTRUC TIONS” .
WEEKL Y CLEANING
• Fol low the ins truc tio ns “DAIL Y CLEANING, s teps 1 – 4” .
• Wi th one han d slide the “ blue” co oling c hamber in terloc k ( 12) to
the open position. While holding it in open position, and using
another hand, carefully remove the chimney (2 ) and removable
tray (3) fro m the bas e ( 1 1) by gentl y lif ting upw ards.
• Cle an the Water Tank (6 ), the C himney (2), the Remov able Tray
(3 ) an d the Heat ing Chamb er ( 10) with a w hite vi negar or a m ild
dete rgent. Af ter war ds thor oughly r inse th ese par ts s everal t imes
in luke warm wat er . Do n ot immer se the B ase (1 1 ) in wat er .
• So ak heati ng elemen t ( 16) for 15- 20 min utes th en gentl y scrub
wit h a sof t brus h to remove mi neral de posit s. Rins e until sm ell of
vinegar is gone.
• T o operate the humidifier follow the instruc tions as desc ribed
under “OPERATING INSTRUC TIONS”.
DISINFECT ING
• Every for tnight, after cleaning, you should additionally disinfect
only these part s of the humidif ier: W ater T ank ( 6) , Chimney (2 ),
Remo vable Tray ( 4).
• Use a s oluti on of 1 tsp b leach p er 4 liter s of water an d rinse
thoroughly in water after disinfectio n .
• Dr y all inn er sur face s with a so ft t issue and w ipe all ou ter sur face s
wit h a sof t, dr y cloth .
• T o operate the humidifier follow the instruc tions as desc ribed
under “OPERATING INSTRUC TIONS”.
C ARE AND S TOR AGE
• Follow the “Weekly Clean ing” inst ructions when the humidifier is
