supply . Select between mains, vehicle, USB and 9V block battery operation modes.
The charging rate of your appliance must not exceed the rated current of the multi charger .
Exceeding the current rate will cause the charger to overload. In case of overloading, caused
for example by short circuits or constant excess current drain, the output will be reduced.
Operation under adverse ambient conditions is not permitted. Adverse ambient conditions are
dened as such:
• wetness or high humidity
• dust and ammable gases, vapors or solvents

OPERA TION
The multi charger features 4 different inputs for its power supply . Only one input may be
connected!
When connected to the power supply , the power indicator lights up. If you do not want to use
the multi charger , disconnect it from the respective power supply source in order to avoid
unnecessary power consumption.
a) Connection of the low voltage mains adapter
1. Select an adapter suitable for your appliance.
2. The polarity is mechanically xed and cannot be modied. Connect the desired low voltage
plug properly to the external connection cable with round socket. Round sockets feature a
xed polarity (plus “+” inside, minus “-” outside).
3. Switch of f your appliance before connecting the multi charger in order to avoid sparking.
4. Regularly check the product for technical safety , e.g. damage of the housing.
5. Have repairs done by qualied experts only . Unauthorized modications or repairs of or
inside the product will void the warranty .
b) Mains operation mode
1. The multi charger is suitable for worldwide use. The provided mains adapters allow for a
direct connection to the most common wall socket systems.
Only replace the mains adapter when disconnected from the power supply! Make
sure the mains adapter and the multi charger are securely locked!
2. Insert the mains adapter into the tting of the housing
and push until it reaches the end and locks into place.
3. In order to replace and remove the mains adapter ,
unlock it by pressing down the lock mechanism and
then slide the mains adapter upwards to remove.
c) V ehicle operation mode
1. The multi charger features a lateral vehicle plug that can be connected to any vehicle
power supply jack featuring a direct current of 12-13.8 V . Make sure to connect the plus
terminal to the center contact of the vehicle power supply jack.
2. In order to perform the connection, ip the housing open at the side and release the vehicle
plug. Then connect the plug to the vehicle power supply jack.
d) USB operation
1. The multi charger allows for power supply via USB ports at computers and notebooks.
2. Pull the lateral USB plug from the socket in the multi charger and connect it to a free USB
port.
Normal USB ports feed the most common appliances with a current of max.
500 mA. Make sure your appliance does not exceed the maximum current.
Exceeding the current might cause overloading or activate the safety mechanism in
the computer or notebook.
If you require a current higher than 500 mA (USB2.0) or 900 mA (USB3.0) respectively ,
use a Y adapter that combines the current of two USB ports (the multi charger limits the
charging rate to a maximum of 1000 mA). The Y adapter is included.
e) 9V battery operation
The multi charger can be connected to a 9V block battery for power supply .
Connect the block battery to the lateral connector intended for 9V block batteries, thereby
observing the correct polarity . When charging is complete, remove the battery in order to
prevent untimely discharging.
