9 V battery (type 6F22 or equivalent). When the change-battery
symbol appears in the lower left of the display, the batteries must
be replaced. Proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the measuring instrument from the circuit being
measured and remove all test leads
- switch the unit off (rotary switch to "OFF") and
- with a suitable crosspoint screwdriver, unscrew the fixing scr-
ews in the lower part of the case at the centre top, bottom left
and bottom right.
- Now carefully lever off the cover.
- remove the used battery from the connecting clip.
- replace the battery with a new one of the same type.
- Observe correct polarity (+ and -)
- After replacing the battery place it in the case of the measuring
instrument and carefully close this once more.
- When closing, take care that the connecting clip (red and black)
leads do not become trapped.
Never operate the measuring instrument in an ope-
ned condition! Danger to life!
Do not leave used batteries in the measuring instru-
ment, because even leak-proof batteries can corro-
de and thereby release chemicals, which are both
damaging to health and can destroy the battery
compartment.
Used batteries are to be considered as special wa-
ste and must therefore be disposed of with respect
for the environment. Special collection bins are pro-
vided for this purpose at specialist retailers and in
waste-recovery yards.

du contrôle de continuité à ce que la diode ou le
branchement/montage qui l'abrite éventuellement
soit absolument hors tension. Toutes les capacités
doivent être déchargées.
H Mesure de fréquences
Uniquement lors de la mesure de la fréquence, l'appareil dispose
d'un soi-disant AUTO RANGE. C'est à dire la plage de mesure s'a-
juste automatiquement selon la fréquence en présence, cela se re-
connaît à la position du point décimal.
Pour mesurer une fréquence, procédez comme suit :
1. Raccordez le câble de mesure noir à la douille COM et le câble
rouge à la "HzOhm->I" (à gauche).
2. Positionnez l'interrupteur rotatif sur "kHz".
3. Reliez les pointes de contrôle avec l'objet à mesurer (générateur
ou autre).
Respectez obligatoirement les valeurs d'entrée ma-
ximales !
Au contact de tensions supérieures à 25 VAC ou à
35 VDC, vous courez un danger de mort.
Ne commutez pas pendant la mesure sur une autre
fonction de mesure respectivement sur une autre
