During the process, the symbol of pre-set Input

(4.1) keeps ﬂashing.

• Then keep the storage button (5) pressed for 2

seconds until the symbol of pre-set Input (4.1)

disappears.

The new temperature and airﬂow setting is

stored into the pre-set mode for quick selection.

Setting

ﬁller, adhesives, construction joints and stucco

forms, lacquer

• Drying wet timber prior to ﬁlling

• Joining adhesives-large-surface gluing with

contact adhesives, activation of pressure-

sensitive adhesives, acceleration of bonding

processes, releasing of bonding points as

well as releasing or bonding of edge band or

veneer.

• Waxing and de-waxing

• Shrinking PVC wrapping and insulation tubes

• Quickly drying of appliances which have

become wet

• Defrosting of icy stairs and steps, door locks,

trunk lids, car doors or water pipes, as well as

for defrosting refrigerators and ice boxes

• Welding of thermoplastic polymer, ﬂooring

materials of PVC and linoleum, PVC-coated

fabric, tarpaulins and foils

• Applying heat shrinking tubes

• Shrinkwrappers

• Bending plastic pipes and sheets

• Soldering plumbing joints, tin, special silver

solder, SMD elements, cable lugs

• Loosening rusted or tightly fastened nuts and

bolts

• Removing old and even thick coatings of oil

paint , lacquer, varnish, synthetic plaster and

vinyl carpeting

• Repairing of ski’s, surf-boards and other

sports goods

• Repairing ﬁnishing layers: enamel of bath and

household appliances; applying epoxypowder

coverlayers

• Disinfection-With hot air of 600°C, you can

quickly rid animal sties/stables of bacteria.

Woodworm infestation can be controlled

(Caution: Danger of ﬁre! Do not heat up the

wooden surface excessively).

TIP! If you are not sure about the correct setting,

start with a low temperature setting and gradually

increase the temperature until you achieve optimum

results.

When the temperature exceeds 650°C, the heating

element switches off automatically. However, the

fan continues to run. When the heating element has

cooled down to operating temperature, it switches

on again.

Switching off:

Slide the switch to 0.

Tip: The optimal setting depends on the material

and can be determined by testing the appliances

on a small part of the workpiece.

Flat rear side (Fig. E)

In between usage, the machine can easily be placed

on its ﬂat rear side (11). This prevents any hot area

from the machine getting into contact with other

surfaces.

The ﬂat rear side (11) also allows the machine to

be used in upright stationary mode. After usage,

always place the machine on its ﬂat rear side (11).

This allows the machine to cool down safely.

To reduce the cooling time, switch the tool to positi-

on I which is at the lowest air temperature and adjust

the air ﬂow to Max. and let it run for a few minutes.

Distributes air equally over ﬂat wide area for exam-

ple when drying big ﬂat surfaces

Reduction nozzle (13)

Distributes air equally over small areas for example

when welding and shrink sleeving

Glass protection nozzle (14)

Deﬂects air away from glass for example when

stripping paint in window frames or softening putty.

Do not strip metal window frames, as the

heat may be conducted onto the glass and

crack it. When stripping other window

frames, use the glass protection nozzle.
