W ASH CY CLES
F ollow the instructions on the symbols of the garment ’ s wash
care label . The value indic ated in the symbol is the maximum
recommended temper ature for washing the garment.
Mixed
F or washing lightly to normally soiled resilient garments in cotton, linen,
synthetic bres and mix ed bres.
Cotton
for washing normally to heavily soiled t owels, underwear , table and bed
linen etc. in resilien t cotton and linen.
Synthetics
for washing normally soiled garments made from synthetic br es (such as
polyester , polyacr ylic, viscose etc .) or cotton/synthetic blends.
Rapid 30’
for washing lightly soiled garments quickly: this c ycle lasts only 30 minutes,
saving time and energy . Maximum load 4,5 Kg .
20 °C
F or washing lightly soiled cotton garments, at a t emperature of 20 °C.
W ash&Dry 45’
for washing and drying lightly soiled cotton and synthetic bre garments
quickly. This cycle washes and dries a laundry load of up to 1 Kg in just 45
minutes.
W ash & Dry 90’
for washing and drying cotton and synthetic bre garments quickly. This
cycle washes and dries a laundry load of up to 2 Kg in just 90 minutes.
Spin & Drain
spins the load then empties the water. For resilient garments.
Rinse & Spin
rinses and then spins. For resilient garments.
White
F or washing normally to heavily soiled tow els, underwear , table and bed linen,
etc in resilient cott on and linen. Only when the temperature is selected at 90°C
the cycle is provided with a prewash phase bef ore main washing phase. In this
case it is recommended to add det ergent both, in the prewash and main wash
section.
Eco 40-60
F or washing normally soiled cotton garments declared to be washable at
40 °C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle. This is the standar d cotton
programme and the most ecient in t erms of water and energy
consumption.
W ool
All wool garments can be washed using prog ramme ‚“W ool“ even those
carr yng the “hand-wash only “ label. F or best results, use special det ergents
and do not ex ceed max k g declaration of laundry.
Delicates
for washing particularly delicate garments. Pr eferably turn garments inside
out before washing .
Colours 15°
This cycle helps protect colours by washing in cold w ater (15°C) and uses
less energy to heat the wat er while still oering satisfactory wash results.
Suitable for lightly soiled, ustained garments . This cycle oers wash results
comparable to 40°c mix ed at just 15°C
Eco C otton
F or washing normally soiled cotton garments at 60°C.
Door locked indicator
if the symbol is o the door is locked. T o prevent an y damage, wait
until the symbol turns on before opening the door .
T o open the door while a c ycle is in progr ess, press the ST ART/P AUSE
button ; if the symbol is lit, the door can be opened.
FIRSTTIME USE
Once the app liance has be en install ed, and b efore you us e it for the r st time,
run a wash c ycle with de tergent and n o laundr y , using the wash c ycle (6 0 °).
DAIL Y USE
Prepar e the laundr y by follo wing the suggestions appearing under the
“ TIPS AND SUGGESTIONS” section.
- Press the ON/OFF butt on ; the ST ART/P AUSE indicator light will
ash slowly .
- Open the door . Load the laundry while making sure not to exceed the
maximum load quantity indicated in the W ash Cycle T able.
- Pull out the deter gent dispenser drawer and pour the deter gent into the
relevant compartments as described in “DETERGENT DISPENSER DRAWER”
section.
- Close the door .
- Use the W ASH C Y CLE selector knob to selec t the desired wash cycle: it
will be associated with a specic temperatur e and spin speed that can be
modied. The duration of the cycle will appear on the display .
- The machine automatically display s the default temperature and spin
speed values for the selected cycle, or the most rec ently used settings if
they are compatible with the selected cycle.
- Select the dr ying c ycle if desired .
- Select the desired options.
- Press the ST ART/P AUSE button to start the wash cycle; the relative
indicator light will light up steady and the door will lock ( symbol o ).
P A USING A CY CLE
T o pause the wash c ycle, pr ess the ST ART/P AUSE button again; the
indicator light will ash. If the symbol is lit, the door may be opened. T o
start the wash c ycle from the point at which it w as interrupted, press the
ST ART/P AUSE button again.
OPENING THE DOOR, IF NECESSAR Y
Once a cycle starts, the symbol turns o to signal that the door cannot
be opened. While a wash cycle is running, the door r emains locked. T o
open the door while a cycle is under way , for example , to add or remove
garments, press the ST ART/P A USE button to pause the cycle; the
indicator light will ash. If the symbol is lit, the door may be opened.
Press the ST ART/P A USE button again to continue the cycle.
CHANGING A R UNNING W ASH CY CLE
T o change a wash c ycle while it is in prog ress, pause the washing machine
using the ST ART/P AUSE button (the relative indicat or light will ash), then
select the desired cycle and press the ST ART/P AUSE button again.
! T o cancel a cycle that has already begun, press and hold the ON/OFF
button. The cycle will be stopped and the machine will switch o .
END OF THE CY CLE
This will be indicated by the w ord “END” on the display; when the
symbol switches on, the door may be opened. Open the door , unload the
laundry and switch o the machine. If you do not press “ON/OFF”
button, the washing machine will switch o automatically after about a
10 minutes. Close the wat er tap, open the door and unload the washing
machine. Lea ve the door ajar to allow the drum to dry .
OPTIONS
! If the selected option is incompatible with the programme set, the
incompatibility will be signalled by a buzzer and the corr esponding
indicator light will ash.
! If the selected option is incompatible with another previously set
option, only the most recent selection will remain active.
Fr eshcare+
If associated with wash cycles, this option increases their performances by
generating steam to block pr oliferation of the main sourc es of unpleasant
odours inside the appliance (exclusiv ely for the wash). After the steam
phase, the machine runs a delicate cycle with slow drum r otations. When
the Fr eshcare+ option is associated with drying cycles, it prevents
stubborn creases from stabilising on garments, thanks t o slow drum
rotations.
The F reshCare+ cycle starts at the end of the wash or dr ying cycle and
continues for maximum 6 hours; it can be int errupted at any time by
pressing any butt on on the control panel, or by turning the knob . W ait
roughly 5 minutes bef ore opening the door .
Start Delay
To set the selected programme to start at a later time, press the button to
set the desired delay time. The
symbol lights on the display when this
function is enabled. To cancel the delayed start, press the button again
until the value “0” is shown on the display.
T emperature
Each wash cycle has a pre- dened temperature . T o modify the
temperature , press the “” button. The value will appear on the displa y .
Spin
Each wash cycle has a pre- dened spin speed. T o modify the spin speed,
press the “ ” button. The v alue will appear on the display .
Setting the drying c ycle
The r st time th e but ton “ ” is pressed, th e machine will autom atically
sele ct th e maxi mum dr ying c ycle which is comp atible with th e sele cte d
wash c ycle. Subsequ ent presses wi ll decrease th e dr ying level a nd then the
dr ying tim e, until the c ycle is excluded comp letel y (“OFF”).

If your laundr y l oad to be w ashed and dr ied is much greater tha n the
maxim um stated l oad (see adjacent t able of wash c ycles), per form the
wash c ycle, and when th e c ycle is complete, divi de the garm ents into
groups and p ut some of th em back in th e drum.
At this point, follow th e instruc tions p rovided f or a “Dr ying only ” c ycle.
Rep eat this procedure fo r the remaind er of the lo ad. Note: a coolin g- down
peri od is always add ed to the end of e ach dr ying c ycle.
