especially paying great attention to the safety instructions in order to
prevent accidents and/or avoid damaging the cooker . The instruction
manual should be retained for future use of the induction cooker .
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read carefully and retain the following instruction manual delivered to ●
you along with the device.
The device is for home usage only . In case of using it for catering ●
business purposes, the warranty conditions are modied.
The device should only be plugged to an AC electric grid of a voltage ●
in accordance with the requirements on the rating plate of the device
through a grounded socket.
Always place the device on a at, even surface. ●
Do not use the device outdoors. ●
The induction cooker is designed for preparing and warming dishes ●
stored in proper kitchen utensils.
The diameter of the inductive utensil bottom should be 12-24 cm.
Do not use the induction cooker to heat rooms or harmful, vaporous, ●
etc. substances.
Do not use the induction cooker to heat up unopened cans. Such a can ●
may explode. Remove at least the cover of the can rst.
Never cook food in aluminium foil. Never leave the food packed in ●
aluminium foil or on aluminium trays on the induction plate, because
the heated aluminium shall melt and damage the appliance.
Do not move the induction cooker when cooking or when there is a hot ●
utensil on it.
Do not place any empty containers on the device. ●
Do not place the induction cooker in the vicinity of devices producing ●
a magnetic eld (e.g. radio sets, television sets, CD/DVD recorders,
cassettes, etc.)
Do not place the induction cooker in the vicinity of open re, heaters ●
and other sources of heating.
Do not place any metal items on the cooker , i.e. knives, forks, spoons, ●
lids, as they will become hot.
There are a number of small objects, which can be identied by the ●
appliance as an induction vessel. In such case the cooker shall heat
and distribute the heat on the objects which are placed on it.
A TTENTION: When you can see any crack or scratch of the glass
surface of the cooker , unplug the supply cord from the mains supply
outlet to avoid the electric shock hazard.
Always turn the power of f and unplug the cooker when the device is ●
cleaned or will not be used for a longer time.
The plug should not be removed by the cord. ●
Do not let the cord hang over a table or a shelf, or touch a hot surface. ●
Do not turn the device on, if it has a damaged cord or any visible ●
damage to the casing.
If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should be
replaced by the producer or at a proper service point or by a qualied
person in order to avoid any hazards.
The appliance can only be repaired by qualied service personnel.
Improper servicing may cause a serious hazard to the user . In case of
defects please contact a qualied service center .

Leave the device to cool off before cleaning. ●
Do not wash the device in running water and do not submerge it or its ●
cord in water .
For washing the casing of the device do not use aggressive detergents ●
present in some cream cleaners, emulsions etc. They may remove the
information such as graphical symbols, safety marks etc.
The induction cooker may be dangerous for people with articial ●
pacemakers. The magnetic eld generated by the cooker may interfere
with the functioning of a pacemaker .

DEVICE SPECIFICA TIONS
ZELMER Induction Cooker is a device used for cooking and heating up
dishes. It is based upon the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction.
Between the surface of the cooker and the conducting pot a magnetic eld
producing heat is created, letting you heat any food placed on the cooker .
The induction cooker may only be used with conducting pots and pans.
The creation of magnetic eld depends on the type of material used for
the base of a pot. Also ferromagnetic pots (with a steel or cast-iron base)
may be used.
Selecting a vessel which is marked with this sign on the
bottom or on the package, you shall be sure, that it is
intended for cooperation with induction cooker .
Induction features:

heating actions are automatically stopped.
After putting the utensil back on the cooker all heating actions will be ●
